Thank you so much for your feedback and for trying out LocoPast. We’re really sorry that your experience hasn’t been as good as it could be. We’ve taken your feedback on board and have been working on an update to improve this experience. The new version has just been submitted to Apple for review, which typically means it should be available within the next 1-2 days. In the current version, every time you move the map, we automatically search for a new batch of historical results. In the new version, moving the map won’t automatically trigger a new search. Instead, you’ll have the option to search when you want to, and the results will build on what you’ve already seen rather than replacing the existing list. This means that historical sites and stories you’ve previously discovered won’t disappear. In an area like central London, there’s an incredible amount of rich history, so your zoom level can also affect which results are displayed. However, we’re hopeful that the new update will make the overall experience much more intuitive and enjoyable. Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback - it’s genuinely helpful.
