- Entries can now be photos. Tap the plus button beside the text field to take or choose one, add a caption if you like, and send it. In its entry you can open the photo full screen to zoom in or share it, or replace it. Photos you take are also saved to the Photos app, which you can turn off in Settings. LogBooklet keeps its own copy in your iCloud, at most 2048 pixels and without the original's location and camera details, and your other devices download it only when you open its entry. - Entries can now be videos, taken or chosen from the plus button, with a caption if you like. The booklet shows the first frame and length, and the entry plays the video full screen. LogBooklet keeps a copy of at most 1080p without the original's location and camera details, and videos you take are also saved to the Photos app unless you switch that off. - Share a photo or a video from the Photos app or any other app to LogBooklet to log it in a booklet, with the shared text as its caption. - Entries can now be audio recordings. Choose Record Audio from the plus button, pause and resume as often as you like, and send it. On iPhone it keeps recording when you leave the app, shown in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen, and a call pauses it. The booklet shows its waveform and length. In the entry, touch or drag the waveform to move through the recording, use Open in Preview to play or share it, or Replace Recording to record a new one. Your other devices download a recording only when you play it. - Settings shows how much space downloaded photos, videos, and recordings take and can remove them, since they stay in iCloud, and how many are waiting to upload and why. - Log Location in the plus button's menu logs where you are as an entry of its own, which the booklet shows as a map. You can correct the place later. - On Apple Watch, photo and video entries show their picture, and a video plays from its entry. - On Apple Watch, a booklet has Snippets, Record Audio, and Log Location buttons below New Entry, and audio entries play and can be scrubbed along their waveform. - New Shortcuts actions log photos, videos, audio, and locations and get an entry's media. Edit Log Entry can replace it. Ask Siri to log your location. - When an entry arrives from another device, Apple Watch, or a shortcut while you are reading further down a booklet, the entries on screen stay where they are. - A new entry slides in at the top of its booklet. - Search in a long booklet keeps up with your typing and updates the results when you pause. - On iPhone Duo, LogBooklet uses the whole inner display, and its toolbar buttons sit in the bar beside your entries. - Touch and hold an entry to copy its text, photo, video, or recording, edit it, or delete it. - Export Booklet now offers JSON as well as Markdown, listing every entry with its kind, text, time, coordinates, media file, and length for scripts and other apps. The Export Booklet action in Shortcuts has a Format option. - A booklet with photos, videos, or recordings is exported as a folder with its file and a media folder, downloading what is not on the device first. In Shortcuts, switch on Include Photos, Videos, and Recordings to get it as a ZIP archive. - Export All Booklets in Settings saves every booklet as Markdown or JSON in one ZIP archive, and so does the new Export All Booklets action in Shortcuts. - An export shows its progress with a Cancel button and keeps going when you switch apps, with its progress on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. If it cannot finish, for example because storage is full, LogBooklet tells you why. The export actions in Shortcuts show their progress too. - On Apple Watch, each entry in a booklet shows the day of the week next to its date. - On Apple Watch, a booklet with Show Time Between Entries switched on shows how long ago its last entry was and the time between its entries. - When you have no booklets yet, the list tells you how to create your first one.
