I Give Up
I’ve been using this app for years, with a subscription to this newspaper. After it’s recent update, it will not stay open on my iPad. I spend 20 minutes opening and reopening. I give up! I need to cancel my subscription after reading this paper for 35 years.
Addendum: The app was working fine for a while. Now it’s stuck on “no internet connection”. Not true. About once each week I have to delete and then reinstall the app.

Disappointing App update
I’ve been a faithful Press Telegram subscriber for decades and have been reading the paper on my IPad since it’s inception. This new app update will probably change this. The app is clunky and only reads in portrait style. You must zoom in to read the articles but must zoom out to go to next page. The app is too sensitive with simple touches taking you to the specific article rather than staying on full page. Previous app was much more user friendly. Sent this information to contact information with no reply.

Updated app, lost access
Amateur app. My password got lost in the mix. And the P-T, while the only source of local Long Beach news, is now a woke lefty tabloid. I don’t have time for this.

Convenient Alternative
The Press Telegram app is wonderful for accessing our local news when the hard copy paper is unavailable. Although, I still prefer to sit down with the hard copy and a cup of coffee. But, when traveling or away from the house, the PT app is a nice alternative.
Hard set up
The setup was hard on my iPad. It was always asking me to sign in multiple times. But now it doesn’t so I am sitting in the same position when I read it in hopes I don’t disturb the settings lol.

It is so easy to read and use. I get my local news and sports articles at hand.
Excellent newspaper
I have been reading the PT since 1969. Although many things have changed in the newspaper industry the PT still gives excellent and timely coverage of current events. I especially enjoy the Local News section. I sure wish they could bring back the old “Action Line” column.

Horrible Paper
App works fine. I just wish the minds of the editors did! The paper places opinion pieces on the front page presented as facts. They can’t keep opinion pieces in the opinion section. Also, they never discuss anything in the context of what it will cost future generations. We make most of our decisions affecting our future in the context of economic principles.

I love your paper and I just paid for 26 more weeks but really too expensive for just no actual paper!
Much Better Now
Past issues have been resolved. Expanding articles used to cause problems and occasionally shut down app. Much better now.
