Long Shout User Reviews

Nice, one feature I would like

I wish flash mode, sign mode, and words scrolling mode can work for every orientations. Also instead of entering the RGB, could you just have a color picker so it’s easier to browse different colors. Overall a great app!

Love this! Use this all the time!

When my telehealth audio drops out & I need to convey to the patient on my screen that we need to both hang up & reconnect, I use Long Shout now instead of trying to pantomime what I need to them to do. However, there’s one thing I’d like to have the developer add — saved commonly used messages that one could pull up with a tap or swipe or something so that one does not have to type out a certain message every time. I use my “hang up & reconnect” message often enough I leave it on so that it pulls up immediately. But if I wanted to inform another driver their brake light is out or blinker is on, I’d have to type out that message, choose the color & speed etc, all while driving. That’s dangerous, difficult & distracting. There should be a “Top 5 Long Shout Messages” that can be composed ahead of time and then selected “on the fly” when one wants to notify someone of something urgently without diverting a half of a minute of attention to composing the message. By then, sometimes the opportunity has passed & missed. Just something to think about! Thanks!

Simple, Great… and Cluttered

I love the app, it’s simple and beautiful. However, I’m very confused as to why it’s full of clutter? There’s already the bottom page, so why aren’t the “check out my games” and “email me story” cards down there too? It would make way more intuitive sense for the second page to be for settings/export only. Two other nitpicks: there’s an emptypage on the furthest left tab on the second shelf, and the scrolling feels awful. It doesn’t match the system’s scrolling behavior at all, and is far too overdamped.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! I've just released an update (1.0.5) that addresses the swiping (good note!) and tried to condense things down card-wise. The reason I don't put cards on the sides of the bottom/intro area is over a concern with making sure new users are onboarded as smoothly as possible. If they swiped left/right initially, they would have a suboptimal introduction and possibly miss the point of the app. Thanks again for the review and feel free to email me with anything else.

this app is okay. nothing special

Fantastic!

Works great! No unnecessary/invasive permissions, Bravo to the creator!

This app is fun

This app is real good to use to shout at friends and other people without actually you know shouting them. Great app honestly.

Very cool

The interface is extremely smooth and simple to understand. I can’t wait to use it

Clever and useful! And free!

Definitely will be using this to get drivers to turn their lights on

TEW CUTE! 🤭💘

I am so glad I found this app, I love cutesy things like this! I’m so happy, thank you creator(s)! Definitely recommending this :) ☺️🌟

simple & perfect

So much better than scribbling on paper…trying to communicate to someone at a stop light “Your right brake light is out/your undercarriage/engine is dragging under the car/your trunk is open/your kid has smeared ketchup all over your windows/I do not carry cash” Though there are plenty of times I’d like to silent shout at people with ALL the expletives, there are also other reasons that this could come in handy especially in emergency situations. To alert someone to something you can’t say outloud and this is far more eye catching than the notepad app. Thank you for the comedic relief, but also for the useful app.

Just fits

A simple way to give people the chance to yell. No enemies. Just fans. If you’re hating. Them your raging at nothing. Like a simple leaf.

Cute

Works great on iPhone. Exporting gif results in crash on iPad mini. Free app so five stars nonetheless. Fun to play with and yell at people. 😉

Addendum: consider allowing emojis. Even as paid upgrade 😏

Response from developer

Thanks for the kind review! I just pushed an update (1.0.3) that should resolve the iPad GIF export crash you were experiencing. If you're up for it, you can email me via address at the support link on here (it's my website: https://aeiowu.com) about how it goes. Thanks again for downloading and the heads-up on the bug.

Finally I can use my voice

They’ll never be able to ignore me ever again.
