Cool design for setting the time
I think the watch is great and this is a really novel way to set time. I’m a little sad the app is not longer being supported/updated.
I still use the app any time I need to set up the watch. For the 17 pro the flash is on the other side so instead of lining up in the camera you line the 12 on the watch roughly to the led. Still works! It’s a bit finicky though.
A more modern watch would likely use Bluetooth low energy, but there’s a lot of charm to the light flashing method.
I hope this app is never taken down! I install it on every new phone I get.

Cette application marche bien. Il faut parfois s‘y reprendre à 2 fois, mais ça marche. Ma seule crainte est la suivante : la gamme VHP étant arrêtée, l‘application sera-t-elle encore disponible dans quelques années ? Et sinon, comment régler le fuseau GMT de la montre ?

I’ve had two VHP timepieces and started with iPhone 8. Then I moved to a 12 Plus and it still worked fine. Now with a 15Pro Max I find the flash setting is not working. While Longines no longer is making the VHP GMT, they should be updating the app to work with consecutive generations of the phone. The technology is so basic (compared to Bluetooth) so why can’t they keep this updated.
UPDATE: Still no update and the app does not work at all. I recall when this was released, the argument for using flash instead of Bluetooth was that no one knew for how long Bluetooth would remain an active standard. They didn’t take into account evolving mobile software and flash mechanisms.

App works fine
I use an iPhone 15 pro and the app works fine. You set your times in the app, point the camera to the watch (ensuring the watch face fills the circle, and yes it’s doesn’t focus). Press take photo and the app will “modulate” the flash to program the watch. The flash will appear to be “flickering” but this is normal.

古い機種にしか対応していない
iPhone15 Proなどの複数のカメラを搭載したモデルですと、メインカメラでピントを合わせることができず、アプリが機能しません。iPhoneXRなどの古い単眼のカメラ搭載機種であれば問題なく使用できます。こういった古い機種を持っている人も少なくなってきているので、最新モデルに対応してほしいです。

Abandoned app
App has not worked in almost 2 years, longines have no interest, have contacted them several times now, and no reply.
Simply not good enough for what is supposed to be a premium Swiss watch brand. It is a shame that the after sales is third rate at best.

Camera does not focus on iPhone 14 pro
The idea of the app is amazing but the camera does not focus on the watch dial to be able to work for the flash feature for the auto tune sync.
Had this been the main reason I bought the watch I’d be furious but it wasn’t. It can be done manually which is very easy but the app feature is pretty cool, should it work in future!

No updates of the app and not really compatible with the new iPhone when need to set time using the camera. KM_T
Outdated with no Support
I bought the watch and this application does not work as it is more than 3 years old and most of the phones nowadrys are not compatible with it. I would appreciate it if you could suggest any alternative applications that I can use to sync my watch with my phone. Or at least update your software.
