Crashes on loading every time

Running the latest version of the app on new and fully updated devices (both iPad and iPhone). When I first download the app and log in, the app works one time. But as soon as I attempt to switch from one child’s profile to the other’s, the app immediately crashes. Every time thereafter, the app crashes on the load screen. Why?? Unusable.

Good beginner guitar

Guitar app is good for beginners and if you’re watching the guitar show just to say if you have a six string pro the guitar show has a free string and I would rate it a four star but sometimes when you tune, it doesn’t sound right like the strings are too loose

Love

This app was so helpful

Fails at the first hurdle

The tuner doesn’t work. Terrible first impression.

Ghost notes

Sometimes sound which aren’t the proper notes get played when there’s no sound of that
Sometimes the app listens to itself

AMAZING

This app is so helpful for me to be able to play the guitar with out stress or depression.Teaching myself how to play guitar helps me get to try new things and get more familiar with music 🎵🎸❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars

Very Good guitar app for beginners and intermediate guitarists
Lots of music genres to choose from. This app also shows how to strum a guitar. And you can toon your guitar on this app. Absolutely Recommend!!!!

Great App But Key Input Is Terrible

Well designed app but my son gets discouraged because the microphone that picks up notes is terrible. This needs to be addressed before I resubscribe.

Awesome

This app is so amazing it is helping me improve

French

If the app was in french, I would have taken a subscription

Won’t tune

The tuner is buggy. Playing pure tones from garage band right into it and it won’t recognize until a random 60-300second timeout. Then it says the note is perfectly in tune. Image how frustrating it is for a child learning to play when the app randomly decides to stop listening.

Good concept but missing essentials

Hey, I really like the theme and the graphics and all that but I really think the app is missing some essentials. First and foremost the audio recognition is not good. It should be possible to adjust sensitivity and correct latency and get some level metres. Adjusting playback vs input level would be great as well. Furthermore one should be able to connect the guitar via interface and get the sounds from inter app audio like TONEX or GigFast into Loog. My iPad Air 2020 doesn’t recognize the sounds from the mics very well and is always late behind. Audio processing is always some milliseconds delayed. I would like to see it reaching a big audience with all the amazing work you’ve done.

Update 03/26: Gave it another try with the Kids yesterday. Same as last year. We sit in front of the iPad with our Acoustic Guitar but even tuning does not work because it does only recognize half of the notes with huge latency. Checked the mic with other apps which work fine. Then tried to use my electric guitar with an interface but the app always uses the mic. No chance to switch to my audio interface or change sensitivity of the mic or anything else. It’s just frustrating because the kids would love to learn guitar. Probably we have to switch to another app where the playing experience is much better… just without the cute monsters.

I Love it

It’s the best guitar app ever for starters!

Very Buggy

Frustrating to use because it just stops working. I’m trying to tune my kids guitar - it doesn’t respond to what I’m doing at all and jumps up and down the line. I thought it was my mic, so I used a different device. Same problem.

Buggy app and terrible customer support

My son just lost all of his progress and unlocks because the app stopped accepting his credentials. Customer support’s only suggestion was that we create a new account. This was after spending hours on the phone with them. no consideration for the failure of their app. Not a month free, nothing. It’s a decent app and we’ve been having fun with it, but I’m now very nervous about it and look forward to my son being able to move onto a normal guitar and not having to rely on this.

Review

It's great for kids but it needs payment and that upsets me 😭

It’s ok

There are like 8 songs where it dosent pick up anything you play and also for some reason like 2 months in it just stopped working because when I try to go in it just crashes so I can’t even get in

Loog guitar rating reveiw

Hey it is a little hard for me to understand the song playing and it doesn’t really listen to what I I’m strumming it doesn’t really like help and I need it to be a little more easier because I’m a beginner and I don’t want ads that make me get more and I just don’t like it that much but I did a four rating because I like it, but I also need some changes

Great

Good app for kids

Great app - some important features could use some tweaking

Great app. My kid loves to tune her guitar and follow along with the songs. Some features could work better- sometimes when you play along with the band it doesn’t recognize that you’ve played the note/chord. But overall super cool for kids and even adults (I’m also pretty obsessed with and created my own profile so it doesn’t interfere with my kid’s progress).
