Close, but doesn’t know the difference between clouds and wind
When I got it, Looks Like Rain became the first weather app I looked at. I loved it. It was quick and easy to find out weather conditions. But as springtime came to Oklahoma usually the only thing I can see on the clear/cloudy bar is “windy.” (It’s windy in Oklahoma in the springtime…) As an astronomer, I need to know if it’s going to be clear or cloudy. Yes, wind is important too, but THERE IS A SEPARATE TAB SPECIFICALLY FOR WIND! Don’t tell me it’s windy on the clear/cloudy tab also! I’ll still give this two stars, as aside from this issue, I love it. But as of now, it’s the last weather app I look at, not the first. I will not be renewing my subscription unless they correct this issue. I submitted feedback to the company on this, but haven’t heard anything from them, nor have they changed anything. Just a forecast of “windy” everywhere I look in the app.

My Goto Weather App Now
I was a bit leery about downloading yet another weather app. I probably have downloaded at least 10, or more. But Looks Like Rain has become the weather app I open first. It is simple to use and gives me the fastest look at weather conditions of all my apps. For a quick check of the conditions now, and over the next week, this is the best. I paid for the pro version and have half a dozen locations I frequent saved now. I love this app.

So easy to plan my day
Love that I can get a visual of what my day will look like and how I can plan my activities around it.

Ich benutze schon länger auf den Handy nur noch diese app, auf dem mac stürzt sie leider sofort nach dem Öffnen ab. Schade, wäre schön wenn es auch hier klappen würde, da es eigentlich eine Superapp ist und fünf Sterne verdienen würde. Die letzte Aktualisierung war vor einem Jahr, das sieht nicht gut aus.

Good UI
Really like the easy-to-understand appearance. Can tap to drill down for a particular day with just one tap. A radar showing rain would be the icing on the cake.
Apple Watch App
As it has been months since the last update, I am hoping that in the next update it will include an Apple Watch app. It would be great to show the temperature, and transition to a rain graph like the app does.

This has become my goto first weather app. Disappointed that the subscription doesn’t seem to be family shareable.
Awesome UI/Interface
I’m involved with a lot of outdoor activities so I need to know the weather in the next hour, day or week. Looks Like Rain app does the best job of making it super easy for me to instantly get the weather information I need (and I’ve tried probably 10 of them).

Tolle, intuitive Visualisierung für die Apple-Wetterdaten. Leider ohne gefühlte Temperatur und abschaltbare Wetterwarnungen. Beim gelben Farbschema sieht klarer Himmel sinnigerweise nach Sonne aus, ist dann unsinnigerweise aber auch nachts gelb eingefärbt. Besser wäre eine andere Farbe für klaren Nachthimmel und generell ein Dimmen der Nachtstunden, was die Tageszeiten nochmal übersichtlicher machen würde. So für mich leider nur eingeschränkt zu gebrauchen.

My favourite weather map in NZ
Maybe I’m stupid … but I find the percentages shown on the weather apps confusing. What do they mean? If you go off and google what they mean … they don’t mean what you think they mean.
This app is different. It lays out the likely weather so it’s easy to see the coming week at a glance. It’s the same data just easier to get your head around.

I loved the app from the beginning but with the addition of wind, it has become perfect for me.

Cette application est vraiment superbe. Elle donne en un seul coup d’œil la météo de la journée et des jours à venir d’une manière visuelle tout à fait agréable. Un gros coup de cœur pour moi. La seule ombre au tableau : une seule source disponible, Apple, qui n’est pas vraiment fiable dans ma région… J’attends avec impatience l’arrivée de Foreca, OpenWeather… Merci d’avance
