Close, but doesn’t know the difference between clouds and wind
When I got it, Looks Like Rain became the first weather app I looked at. I loved it. It was quick and easy to find out weather conditions. But as springtime came to Oklahoma usually the only thing I can see on the clear/cloudy bar is “windy.” (It’s windy in Oklahoma in the springtime…) As an astronomer, I need to know if it’s going to be clear or cloudy. Yes, wind is important too, but THERE IS A SEPARATE TAB SPECIFICALLY FOR WIND! Don’t tell me it’s windy on the clear/cloudy tab also! I’ll still give this two stars, as aside from this issue, I love it. But as of now, it’s the last weather app I look at, not the first. I will not be renewing my subscription unless they correct this issue. I submitted feedback to the company on this, but haven’t heard anything from them, nor have they changed anything. Just a forecast of “windy” everywhere I look in the app.

My Goto Weather App Now
I was a bit leery about downloading yet another weather app. I probably have downloaded at least 10, or more. But Looks Like Rain has become the weather app I open first. It is simple to use and gives me the fastest look at weather conditions of all my apps. For a quick check of the conditions now, and over the next week, this is the best. I paid for the pro version and have half a dozen locations I frequent saved now. I love this app.

So easy to plan my day
Love that I can get a visual of what my day will look like and how I can plan my activities around it.

Ich benutze schon länger auf den Handy nur noch diese app, auf dem mac stürzt sie leider sofort nach dem Öffnen ab. Schade, wäre schön wenn es auch hier klappen würde, da es eigentlich eine Superapp ist und fünf Sterne verdienen würde. Die letzte Aktualisierung war vor einem Jahr, das sieht nicht gut aus.
