Versatile and easy to use
I tried paper designs when I first started beading, but quickly realized an app was going to make my life much easier and beading more fun. I liked being able to try out all of the features before committing, but haven’t looked back since investing in this invaluable tool. Thank you!

Love it! Worth it!
Really love this app. It’s very well designed and pretty intuitive. They thought of everything though I do wish one of the templates had the three-section triangle shape (adjustable for size) as are commonly done with the peyote stitch. Just shape options in general would be really cool for making patterns for more geometric beading (ex: 3D stars, kaleidoscopes—both done with peyote). Still, great app and so worth it!

Super easy to use
I have enjoyed using this app for about a year or more. It’s super easy to use. I also love that I can add in the beads that I own, which helps keep track, as well as add in color palettes I come across. Still learning the more advanced features but it’s a great app. I would ,however, like to see the addition of herringbone as an option maybe in the future. All in all a great app.

Best option
I’ve used probably all the beading software programs and this is definitely the best and the most up-to-date. It’s also not run by a Russian company that pretends to have a US address.
My big issues are that although you can exchange one color for another, you can’t switch two colors with each other. Also, they don’t have Toho Aiko, which is a pretty big problem for me because I send a number of clients the design for approval and create about 90% in Toho Aiko. Some of the Toho colors are pretty far off from the actual color. In addition to getting those Aiko colors, it would be nice to be able to just have a CMYK option to create your own color.
There’s a few bugs when you export it, especially around the line breaks. I spend almost an hour in the time to export it in PDF, then do a find and replace in the word chart because I like changing it to my own shorthand for the colors as well as giving them an actual color in that chart. Plus, I like to add cell borders around each row.
These are not insurmountable issues, and it really is a nice piece of software. I think the other programs had many of the same problems and were incredibly unstable, although the exporting process was better. I have no hesitancy recommending loomerly wholeheartedly to anyone looking.

Gute App
Die App gefällt mir sehr und ich habe mir die Vollversion gekauft. Ich brauche aber dringend eine größere Fläche für meine Muster. Ich nutze die App nicht nur um Armbänder zu gestalten. Derzeit plane ich eine große Stickerei für ein american native Dress. Es wäre daher super wenn die Möglichkeit besteht in der App die Größe der Fläche dementsprechend anpassen zu können. Derzeit bekomme ich nicht mal die Hälfte des Musters in die Planung wobei der Bereich nur die eine Schulter und den Teil vom Rücken zeigt. Der vordere Teil passt nicht mehr in die Fläche. Ganz zu schweigen vom gesamten Schulter Bereich mit dem dazugehörigen Rücken und Brustbereich.

My husband gifted me this app as a little random gift. I love it. There’s not much to say because it’s so good and just does what it’s suppose to - help you make beading patterns. The only thing I’m hoping is that John Bead Cylin bead colors will be supported in the future. (:

Great APP for Basic Pattern. Could improve some functions to be excellent
I enjoy this app. I use it for basic patterns and to convert photos into patterns, but I need to bring the graphics into other applications to further manipulate them and bring my full vision to life.
It is great for the basics, but some functions could be improved to make it more robust. I like that you can build your own color palettes and add new or missing colors to the standard palettes. I wish we had the same flexibility in other areas, such as:
- Additional beading stitch options (e.g., herringbone, chenille, RAW, etc.)
- The ability to mix multiple bead sizes in grid patterns
- The option to create a personal library of bead sizes and shapes
- The option to add or create a custom symbol library to identify more bead finishes than the standard set
- The ability to simulate thread width, dimensions, and color within the grid, since thread can be just as much an element of the design

Overall great,just leaves a little wish-list
Love this program, wish that there was a button to push that would highlight the center point of patterns when you’re making them. Really like the custom palettes function!

This app is so so so amazing! I love the simplicity and ease of use! I track my bead inventory on a web based spreadsheet. I love that you can print a shopping list with this app!
Worth the price
I’m new to beading and this app has been incredibly helpful in my learning process so far. The copy and paste has been a great tool when creating new patterns.

Excellent App for designs
I tried it for free at the beginning and soon after I decided to buy it. It’s amazing! Easy to understand and use, very precise and it has a lot of tools. Definitely worth it!
