How to get more Bars

Apps great maybe it’s intended to be this way but seem I can’t add more bars. If I try to drag out I guess if pocket it shows your loop splitting into the beginning not adding time. My only downfall so far but just got this today

Review update

My first review of this app from 4 years ago still appears here, which was very favorable for this app. But after mostly using Garageband for the majority of my iOS music productions since that review, I recently decided to try the app again. To cut to the chase, the app is fun to use in some ways but a pain to use in others. As one who doesn't want to get caught up in the money pit of buying Retronym's various music packs, I choose to import loops from my phone's files to use in Looperverse. It is doable but is not at all convenient, in that I have to convert the files via Audioshare to be useable in the app, which is a process with several steps. But, if you just want a simple looper to record song ideas without any EQ support (not even simple treble, bass, etc), this is a fun app in that you when you hit record, it will record a track then automatically record the next track once you reach the end of the preset loop length. I don't know of other looping apps that do that so that's a positive feature and kind of addictive. I would, however, love to see this app redesigned to play well with external apps and effects as well as being able to easily import loops from my device, as previously mentioned. The interface could definitely use a redesign because it's so easy to hit the wrong button when simply trying to scroll out the volume panel on the left side. There's a lot of potential here to have a superb looping app but it will definitely need changes to get there.

Never updated but still wants your $$

This app hasn’t been updated in two years for and some time and it crashes every time I try to use it. I’m not a Retronyms fan by any way shape or form and the only apps that I think are remotely usable are the Arturia based apps (which thank goodness can still be used in Audiobus and not just that horrid Tabletop joke). This app is just one of Retronyns’ money grabs. It is not an efficient looper. It crashes if you try to load anything from their AudioCopy app which is the only thing they want you to do now is to spend money on new loops they keep releasing but NO real updates. The AudioCopy app is also antiquated and at the beginning of the iOS audio app revolution about 10 years ago it was a ‘must have’ but now instead of keeping up with the current times they just send you crappy beat packs to buy and NO app updates.. Trust me- I have over a hundred audio apps that I have paid for and beta tested. This one looks cool but it is a bummer. I have soo many looper apps on iPhones and iPads. This one is abandoned as far as I am concerned. Crash, freeze, stutter, rinse, repeat. If it EVER gets a menial update I will have an in-depth review.I mean I will test all my iPads and iPhones and see if it actually works with the myriad of sound packs that they released that still crash and make this “Looper” completely unusable.

To the developer-thanks for responding a year after I left this review. I emailed you guys a few times with no response. You see I have been beta testing audio, video, and photo apps for 13 years and I ALWAYS contact the developer before I leave a poor review. Usually if I don’t get a response in a month after multiple emails then I leave a review if the app is buggy. I don’t know what you updated in Audiocopy but this app has not had any updates. The same with impc2 for iPhone (I have not opened my iPad this week so I can’t say if the iPad version has been updated). After I read your response I opened up Looperverse and tried Audiocopy today a file straight into Hook I was greeted with a trip to the App Store telling me Hook was not available for my device. I have it installed so I found that odd and that all has also not been updated in years.
So I had to do a very long workaround and after two crashes my file exported but these apps should be updated. I have spent a lot of money with you guys and no updates. IAA is still on your apps and it is not supported anymore. At least make your apps work and maybe add auv3 (you could always make it an in app purchase). At least you have my money since I do own ALL of your apps but can’t use them.
Sorry and thanks for the response.

Don’t buy Any Retronyms apps except for Tabletop that’s their best

Looperverse is glitchy and it crashes constantly, making you loose quality time it’s literally the most unproductive and buggy recording interface, I wish I could get my $ back for it and also for iMPC, iMPC, iMPC pro2, the AudioCopy tool also made by them is garbage and is the sole component in the glitches and constant crashes, all their “D.A.W stations use AudioCopy for fetching sample packs you buy separately. Rendering your hard earned money you spent on their products straight to the garbage. And 100% their profit! Has anyone got a full refund?
