Cue loop

I continuously have to close the app and reopen because after the track “prepares” it does play, it returns to the “cue loop” button. Hopefully this can fixed soon. Thank you for all of your hard work.

Death to MPC machine!!

This app is great and efficient for an every Sunday or any church music need!! Even if something is wrong with the app CDub works countless around the clock to make sure every musician is satisfied. Get the app everyone

Great app one issue recently

App works great for everything easy to find tracks for services and practice but I have issue. At first i can use the back arrow and forward arrow to go to the next track and the playlist and now that function doesn’t work I tried everything updates my brand new max, update the app, uninstall, etc. Really way more convenient when the arrow key function was working you don’t have to click the next button to change the track

Glitchy

Whatever update this was this go round was not a good one. I had to log out and log back in and then every one of my playlists as a results. Now it takes forever to come up because it’s “fetching”. And now my iPad doesn’t like the update. It also said I needed to subscribe when I know my subscription was up to date so I’m out $21 which I am definitely not happy about. Will have to find another alternative if I can’t get it to work. On the bright sise, this was still a brilliant move.

Functioning Again

Just Updated to IPad OS 26.6 and the app is fully functional again.

Concerns about the latest Updates

So in general, I’m really enjoying this app and it’s helped ministering to be more smooth for our team. But I’ve notice for the past month or so that I have to long into the app EVERYTIME that I get to use it, and it has become a little inconvenient. When I have to sign back in, it takes a minimum of 1 1/2 minutes to reload all the songs on the app, and then when I go to the sets that I have put in a few days before in preparation for services. The presets are gone, so I’m having to scramble to look for these tracks again, including the ones that I had to sub out for something else so I’m at a loss. Is there a way to keep the app up with me finding like it was before and not delete everything that I worked so hard to preset? Thanks in advance for the help!

Good effort but horrible bugs

This app constantly crashes now and is not like it used to be…no updated tutorial on a step by step process how to hook up with ableton…and the app crashes when I switch between beats…not realizable for church use. And went to YouTube and no one is replying to any questions about the app. If any one comes out to challenge CDub on this platform and create an app rival…I’m afraid he will loose a lot of subscribers do to lack of quality if the rival makes it more intuitive and actually responds to his subscribers.

Used to be good

Used to be a good app. But now it’s super buggy. I have to sign in every time I use my phone for anything else. Then the loops have to all individually “fetch” and load after signing in takes a long time. Then the playlists u created goes away. And also if u look for a loop then actually find one after previewing it or downloading it takes u to another screen as if u never searched at all.

App is freezing when I click my playlist

App has become useless the last 2 weeks. I have to force close it when I click on my playlist the app freezes. I will have to cancel next week if it continues not to work.

Keep Freezing and Have to keep re-logging in

I like the app but I’ve had nothing but constant freezing issues and having to continue signing in

It’s fine…when it works.

Tried logging out of appleID, syncing, clearing cache, and even restarting my device. If I can’t get it to work for me at home, why would I trust it on Sunday?

It could be better

I like this app but I’m a quartet musicians at heart and there’s not a lot options when it comes to finding them “drives” with that quartet feel, I also think they could’ve done better with the snare sounds on them shout bumps, they sound like a country music type snares lol ijs other then that I love this app

Love it…Buutt

I love using the app for the loops. I even enjoy the feature where I can add my own loops. However, there’s only 15 slots and the delete button doesn’t let you delete ones you don’t want anymore.

Love It But..

I absolutely love this app! Total game changer for any music ministry. However, I strongly dislike the update. First, this strange glitch occurs every single week I use it where I'll click on a loop and it opens up into another window and it just says “UNKNOWN” in caps and nothing works. No sound no nothing. I have to effectively exit the app and go back in to get it to play. This never happened before the update. Also it doesn't allow you to play the loops on the screen where you can actually see all of your other loops, it confines you in this new window because of some new features but you can't back out and search for a another click while you're playing one. It's just an unnecessary limitation. And finally it keeps kicking me every single week it's telling me to “subscribe” and I'm definitely subscribed lol but it keeps kicking me out. On a Sunday morning when I need to my playlist asap and the band is looking at me fiddling with my
Phone because I had to log back in or exit the app and them scroll to find the right track. We knows as musicians 5 seconds of awkward silence feels like an eternity. To me this is not acceptable, esecpsilly at 20$ a month. Love the app but it needs another revision, it could be so much better!

Not worth the price

I been using this app for years, there’s been a few problems with the app but lately they did an update to the app to give it a new look, but that update cleared all my playlists and wouldn’t let me log in to use the app. It kept saying subscribe even though I already paid the $19,00 for the month. Thank God I got my refund back through Apple. I even tried emailing this app support and they didn’t respond until 5 days later with no solution. I ended up downloading XME Loops which is only $9.00 a month and has way more loops. I won’t be coming back to this app again.

New Update Bugs

I love the fact that landscape mode is available with the new update, but before when making a playlist, when you set the bpm, it saved. But now it won’t. It goes back to the original.

Please update

The new look is weird and i’m not able to use my keyboard space bare or arrows to press play or navigate tracks

Developer Keeps Adapting

The fact that I’ve been using this app for about 9 years, proves that it does what it needs to do. And the developers keep making it better!

Please update

It’s a great product for running tracks but my only issue is that it always randomly signs me out and I have to resign in and most of the time i have to do it over and over just for it to work. Please allow it to keep us signed in

Love it. a few suggestions

I’ve really been enjoying using Loops by CDub. It’s become a regular part of my workflow, and as a blind user, I truly appreciate that the app is accessible on iOS with VoiceOver. I don’t take that lightly at all. Being able to navigate through loops, playlists, and controls without having to rely on sighted assistance means a lot, and it’s been a real pleasure working with the team and contributing feedback around accessibility. I would genuinely love to continue helping as the app grows.

When I first open the app, I keep getting a pop up asking me to sign in to my account every single time. Even though I am using the same device, it doesn’t seem to remember me. Because of this, my loops and playlists take much longer to load. Once I sign in, I have to wait for everything to sync again before I can really get started. It would make a big difference if the app could stay signed in or have an option to remember my login so it opens ready to go.

The other major issue has been the loop import process. I am not sure if there is a limit to how many loops I can import, but it feels like I run into some kind of ceiling after a while. Sometimes when I import loops, they do not show up in my library at all. I will refresh the app, and then it freezes or becomes unresponsive. At that point, the only fix I have found is deleting the app and reinstalling it. After reinstalling and signing back in, the loops finally appear, which tells me they were there but just not loading correctly.

On top of that, sometimes loops do not loop smoothly. This happens with both loops that I import and loops that already come with the app. I make sure my imported loops are set up correctly on my end in my DAW, with clean start and end points and proper tempos, but I still experience issues. Sometimes they stutter, sometimes they drift, and sometimes they just do not loop seamlessly. Since this also happens with the built in loops, I do not think it is only something on my end.

Even with these problems, I still really enjoy the app and I see a lot of potential in it. I think with improvements to the login system, better stability during loop importing, and more consistent loop playback, Loops by CDub could be even stronger for both blind and sighted users.
