Perfect for beatmaking live

Djing and beat making in one? I’m already thrilled. Let me know how I can support!

Thank you!! Just use L8 and make good music!

Discovery of the year.

I don’t mind using the piano roll workflow or the launchpad type of controller but I prefer the “round” style of controller like Concentric or Patterning for quick variations. This takes this concept to the nth degree with scrollable bands upon bands of circular midi steppers. Next I have to figure out how to get my own samples in and to become more adept at slicer/timing features. It does load in AUM.

Hey!

People! This is absolutely amazing app. I was playing with this last seven days and it is indescribable what you can do with it plus it is very stable. Effects section is great and that is the power in this app. It is easy to import own samples and record session and export it. For me this is the app that holds the key of music making even for the people who do not play any instruments. Your instrument is Loopseque 8! Give it a chance as I did and you could be amazed. Manual is available on developer’s website.

Crashes fixed

Okay

Fixed! Well done Casual Underground! Quick Response Too!

Thank you ever so much for fixing Loopseque 8 Casual Underground! 😊. It now works completely fine on iOS 10. How you did this SO fast I'll never know - but great work. Sorry about venting my frustration, my sincerest apologies! It just seemed that my reviews were disappearing, and I was getting nowhere! Add to that the fact that a similar thing had already occurred with 5 OTHER Apps, and perhaps you can understand my angst. I DO apologise though! Loopseque 8 has become a VERY important App to me, so many - MANY thanks for repairing this tremendous piece of work.

We have fixed the problem. New version 8.0.4 is available for downloading. Check it please and write to us if needed.

A Unique Feature Set for Building Patterns

UPDATE: I've revised my review and rating because the developer created a manual and added contact information on their website.

It's laid out fairly well, though some controls are too small. Though the manual mentions "polyrhythms" they really mean "polymetric rhythms". The rate controls allow you to change the step rate, but there aren't enough selections go get all the different rates I want.

The app launches and automatically is in play, which is super annoying.

I tried to get a refund, but Apple didn't provide that as an option. I don't know if that is a change Apple made, or if the developer has the option to enable refunds.

Thank you for your feedback. We are always ready to answer your questions, ask at any time. Now you can find all contact information, including email, and user manual on our website: loopseque.com. Also, Doug @soundtestroom made the great video review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYDpzTF3Myc and more video tutorials from us will follow. Many lessons and tricks with round sequencer and principles of work you can find in our previous app called Loopseque. If you interested - just write to us: team@casualunderground.com

Lots of fun, but unfinished.

Mysteriously, the first review I wrote vanished. So here we go again. I got this app on release, having enjoyed the original. Despite its limitations. This is the same thing, on steroids, with some great ew features and more of everything, except - very oddly - midi out. A feature that was so useful on the original. Quite why this is missing I have no idea, but it really needs to be added back.

Desperately needs decent documentation.

Update: For the one-star reviewer. There is contact information for reaching the developer. Go to Loopseque (not Loopseque 8) in the App Store. Select the developers link towards the bottom of the page there. Go to the bottom of the developer’s web page. There’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Plus there are a lot of YouTube videos for Loopseque, which are helpful. Doug, with the Sound Test Room, has done a lengthy YouTube video on Loopseque 8. I would expect more as time moves on. Don’t get me wrong, this app still needs good documentation but considering Loopseque came out 8 years ago, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

As far as marketing though, this developer has missed the boat and is leaving money on the table. Possibly a lot if it. Their web page us done well. Real ‘sexy’ looking.

Syncopated pandemonium! I love it❣️ I’ve got an insane sort of Blues rhythm going, injected periodically with a Hammond organ chord with a fast attack and release accented with a low-key run.

If this app is intended to sell normally for $20, they need to write some descent documentation (context sensitive help too would be real good).

I have two problems with Loopseque 8 playing audio both through AUM, as desired, but also directly to my device’s speakers! Second, Deck A doesn’t have audio when I start it in AUM. All the ‘playing’ animations are active but the app’s output VU meter, left is dead. Start Loopseque 8 stand-alone and I hear audio for both Decks.
