Incredible and flexible!
The term “Looper” doesn’t even come close to justifying this amazing piece of software. Imagine Ableton Live, complete with Session and Arranger - then add a totally flexible MIDI controller which you can design yourself - both with looks and functionality. Then add some more cool stuff, like the Ability to run Loopy Pro as a plugin - IN Loopy Pro! The fact that this also runs on an iPhone is insane. Big thanks to dev Michael!

Amazing and flexible beyond imagination
While I use very little of what Loopy Pro can actually do, it really helps to have a looper fully integrated with mixer for routing (eliminates so much cabling). Full MIDI control over everything. Loopy Pro is incredibly powerful for live music creation.

This is an exceptional app. If you know what you want your looper to do it seems limitless in its capabilities. If you don’t then it will require some thought before you start building templates or it will make your brain hurt! I’m somewhere in between at the moment but the potential of this thing is staggering.

More powerful than RC-600 and RC-500
Being an RC-600 and RC-500 experienced user, I am very happy with this extraordinary looper that provides new possibilities for composition, rehearsal, and multi-track recording. I guess my old Boss hardware can take a break and move aside for Loopy Pro. Good YouTube video support for learning the interface, which is a very friendly UI with minimal time invested in the learning curve. You know how we get excited about a new instrument or pedal…. Loopy Pro is one of those things that captures the imagination by allowing our inspiration to guide us.

Blows away my desktop DAW
I’ve been a music producer in multi-instrumentalist for 20 years, I have a few album albums, assigned to a record label in Europe. I have been using Cuba’s, and then studio one, and then more recently getting into live looping. Had a little boss pedal which was kind ok. I heard about this program Loopy Pro. I downloaded it over a year ago, initially overwhelmed. Everyone says it’s so powerful but it has a bit of a steep learning curve. For some videos, understanding the nuances, and the subtle brilliance with this simplicity, I can now say after using this for a year and a half it is more than just a music looping program, it is in fact life-changing. Once you start using it you can see the potential, you can literally do anything live. I mean anything. I have used Ableton for some live looping in the past, and this completely blows it away. I cannot give it enough accolades, it is absolutely brilliant, and served me in a path, spending thousands of dollars to upgrade my physical equipment with the main hub loopy pro on an iPad. I’m telling you right now, in the right hand this will blow away anything on a laptop, anything on Ableton live. It’s worth so much more than the nominal price here on the App Store.

pretty much my main DAW now
I've tried so many different hardware and software loopers I've lost count. I own an RC505mk2, mk1, RC5, ableton, logic pro, and have tried countless others - this DAW just blows them all out of the water. It is one of the most fun and intuitive DAWs I've ever used - so much so that it's basically my main idea generator these days. I use it on both my iphone and ipad, with a more elaborate hardware rig (12 channels) and with a very simple 2 channel interface for buskin' and Loopy pro handled both flawlessly. Waiting desperately for the macos version so I can use it on every platform. The development team is responsive, I've never had it crash, and even with my 12ch setup the CPU usage barely goes about 20% on a medium range iPad. This app is an inspiring instrument, a breath of fresh air.

Wonderful way to come up with tunes for songs
I love loopy pro. I’ve only used it for a month or so, but it’s very worth. My creation process is very spontaneous, so having an app that not only makes looping easy, but fun, is great for my music making. Thanks Michael!

The last piece of software you need
I’ve been trying to figure out how to get an easy multi-instrument set up to loop and play live for years. Loopy Pro has brought my vision to life and gave me the power to bring it even further than I had dreamed of. I run drums, guitar, bass, and synths all through a single iPad, each with their own effects/apps, and out to a single amp. It’s insanely easy to switch between the right sounds exactly when I want them. The learning curve is extremely low and the community creating tutorials and walk through is incredible- so you can find how to do almost anything in the app with ease. If I could give it 6/5 stars I would. Whoever is building this thing is a genius and deserves more money than they are charging for this.

It is hard to describe how good Loopy Pro really is. It becomes whatever kind of looper you desire. There is a learning curve of course that comes with this much versatility. There is a multitude of people online including the developer willing and able to help you fulfill your looper dreams.
Hate subscriptions? Me too. The payment model is the way of the future in my opinion. You pay one time and get a full year of updates after that keeping all you have. If you want more updates after that you pay more. A perfect balance that encourages customers and the developer.

Probably the most powerful and flexible music production/performing app there is. I think it’s also safe to say that Micheal would have to be the most helpful, hands-on and inspirational developer there is. A brilliant mind and such a rad human.
