About
Every photo you send carries more than the picture.
Loose Lips reads what yours is carrying and says it in plain words: where it was taken, when, which phone took it, and the extras almost nobody sees — serial numbers, maker notes, an embedded thumbnail. Then it hands you a clean copy of the same picture, with none of it.
It does not re-compress your photo. For HEIC, JPEG and PNG the picture is copied untouched, and the app proves it on your device before it tells you so. You get a badge that says "Pixels identical — checked on this device". On the rare file it cannot do that with, it says "Re-encoded at maximum quality" instead. It never claims silently.
Clean one photo or thirty. There is a share-sheet action too, so you can clean a photo without leaving the app you are already in.
Nothing leaves your phone. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no history, no ads. The only permission it ever asks for is add-only access to Photos, and only when you tap Save.
What it is not: it is not a way to make a photo anonymous or untraceable, and it is not a forensic tool. It keeps the orientation tag and the colour profile on purpose — removing those is what leaves other apps' output rotated or colour-shifted. Video is copied without re-encoding, but no pixel check is claimed for video. RAW and DNG are reported and left untouched.
