7/29/26 EDIT: I have decided to drop my initial review down from 2 stars to 1 star. I would’ve never wasted my time, money, and getting emotionally invested in following the main story since last October if I knew how little Infold/PaperGames values their global player base.
Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time playing Love and Deepspace or any of Infold/PaperGames’s other games. They lure you in with previously existing high quality content and ensure you that you’ll receive more only to backtrack, cancel it on a whim, and give you nothing but empty promises and free in-game resources as “apology gifts” for their wrongdoing. The main wrongdoing is cancelling the 6th love interest, Valko. Infold is also responsible for other issues such disregarding POC players’s request to fix the lighting in the game so they could see their custom made main character during the nighttime scenes since 2024.
The apology gifts in question are 30 time-limited Deepspace Wishes that are worth $1 USD each that were given to us loyal players over the course of 30 days to maintain their daily active users to maintain their profits. This wasn’t a genuine compensation for players’s disappointment about Valko’s cancellation. Don’t look forward to claiming any of the “apology gifts” as a new player as of the time of this review.
Infold/PaperGames refuses to acknowledge or provide any sort of feedback regarding the former 6th love interest, Valko’s cancellation despite a month’s worth of positive, peaceful boycotting by the global players.
Global players have donated thousands of dollars to wolf conservation centers, named a star after Valko, provided millions of dollars in the form of free advertising, and more! Yet Infold still chooses to cater to those who spread hateful ideologies, harass their staff at their HQ, and throw cow dung on their property.
I implore anyone who is interested in playing an intriguing otome game to skip this one because Infold also promised to not include any new love interests after Valko’s cancellation.
Original Review: Love and deepspace started out as a very immersive experience with rich lore, charming characters, and an intriguing main story. However, Infold’s reckless decision to delete Valko, an integral sixth love interest that would serve as a foil to Rafayel, has forced me to rate the game at 2 stars.
Without Valko, there would be no chairman to EonTech, which is a company that has ties to EVER. EVER is the main antagonistic force that is responsible for the aether core in the main character (MC)’s heart. EVER is also responsible for using the MC and Caleb as test subjects in their childhood. Valko’s character was supposed to serve as an informant and confidant to MC about EVER’s plans. The story cannot progress effectively without him. Sylus and Caleb’s roles in the main story would be an incomplete, inconsistent mess without Valko’s involvement.
In addition, Valko’s character would have provided more combat such as directional orbits, more free items in the chocolate shop, and an abundance of much needed upgrade materials.
Without Valko, there is no more love and deepspace.

I’m so disappointed in Infold
I used to love playing this game. At first I was really excited for the new upcoming Character, Valko. But after hearing the news of him getting cancelled was devastating for me. The company does not listen to global fans at all, and decided to cancel Valko due to extreme player backlash in China. I’m very disappointed. That’s all I have to say.

Bring Back Valko!
I was preparing to set aside money for Valko and he’s been put down like a stray mutt at a pound just because some Mean Girls decided to be ungrateful bullies causing the loss of hard work put forth by multiple passionate artists and causing a VA to lose their job in the process. Work is already hard to come by in this current global economy and this is a bad look for Infold. Why would any future VA’s trust a job offer from them now moving forward? No job security at all. The virtual bullies should be ashamed of themselves and re-evaluate their morals. This is a game made with love and brought us fans together through a loving community. There is no place for hate, discrimination and animosity in this cherished community.😞😢 I will update if Infold does the right thing for Valko and his fans.

Disappointment
Game has gone downhill. A bunch of unkept promises, too much unnecessary drama and chaos that I ended up deleting my account.The developers also do not care to consider applying proper color matching/ theory to the main hunter girl’s skin tone. As someone with a darker complexion it is disappointing to see my character black out or non-visible in certain memory scenes. Many people have brought this to their attention but the developers do not care 🤷🏾♀️ and still have made no changes. No problem, I just won’t spend any more of my money and you guys can lose even more revenue.

Dear Love and Deepspace I’m stuck in 3.14 I thought this game was a dating app without fighting I don’t like fighting can you please let us skip it and move to the next one because sometimes I win but sometimes I can’t I just don’t like fighting I just want to continue the story and see what happens 😩😭 but I’m stuck there and not knowing what to do on the game please do something I don’t like the challenge at all 😩🙏🏾
