When something goes wrong on this app and you report it, there is no response. Fortunately, Apple provided me with a refund when a purchase went awry.
Useless App
Installed app to purchase a back issue and the purchase isn’t there. I was charged by apple for nothing. Very disappointing.
Take your money but don’t give the service
The app is awful now. Out of 70 issues, I can only access the top 20 before the app crashes. It will not let me scroll down to view the others. I have deleted and reloaded but nada. Frustrating!
Great content. Issue with app itself
Since they changed the app a few months ago, I can’t multitask on my iPad. Quilters often have tv shows/movies on while they work. But with the new app, every time you swipe to a new page, the video stops. There are no videos in the app, but it stops whatever I am watching from playing. It’s really problematic. :(

No response from developer
After the app update I lost all of my purchased magazines and they cannot be reinstalled so I reached out to the developer and 3 weeks later no reply
Rip off
Being new to quilting I bought this app with the intention of learning and being able to make some nice projects for people. But just now I was sent an email to update the app, and when I did it now will not let me access.

Beware the special offer
Beware the special offer: it is thoughtfully written as if you would get Love patchwork and quilting special issues, except these are special issues from the LPAQ app, which are mostly not quilting magazines. This is strongly and intentionally misleading and I am not happy with this method.
Love the magazine but!!
I love this magazine but have had repeated hassles with the app. I have had to instal and re install the app about four times and it is still not right. The service Centre is very helpful but I just want immediate access to the magazines that I have paid for. It would be great if you could download the magazine so that you can keep it in your library.

Trouble downloading most current issue
I have been unsuccessful in downloading the current issue the app crashes before it finishes the download? This is my favourite magazine, please fix.

Every magazine is filled with wonderful projects and ideas. The designers’ originality and creativity is inspiring in every issue. I love that templates are provided at the website.
Most always the app works great. Occasionally, it has hiccups loading but they don’t last long. My solution is to close it out and reload the app (my only complaint).

The app crashes every time I try to open the issue I purchased
Unsatisfied
This app is horrible. I have paid for 45 issues and none will download. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, attempted to work with their support group, etc. No luck. Now they are simply not responding to me. Wish I had simply purchased the magazine, as the content is fantastic.

Since I have a new IPad, the former issues do not load....

Love this magazine but the digital copy is not very user friendly. I recently was forced to upgrade their program and now I have lost the earlier issues I had access to ... probably better off buying the hard copy … so disappointed.
Content great - app terrible
This is probably the worst app I have. I can rarely read a magazine. Constant crashes are the norm and not being able to open the magazine at all is typical. I’ve been subscribing to the app since close to the inception and its time they figured this out. Updates don’t address the problems.

Love, love, love this magazine. I have made about 4 Quilts from this mag. I have it on my iPad but try to get the hard copy when I can!
Incredible content, unreliable app
I love this magazine, and when it works, it’s absolutely wonderful. I am subscribed through iTunes and semi-frequently need to delete the app and re-download to get the content. When I try to open an issue that’s included in my subscription I often get stuck with a black screen and a 0% frozen on it. I’m pretty frustrated because it’s been happening more often than not recently, and I might switch to the physical magazine instead.
Again, the content is beautiful, modern, and well taught through the instructions, but the app experience leaves a lot to be desired for me.
Update- dropped to one star because I had to reinstall the app twice in a day due to the above issue.
