Lucilla: Smart Grocery Carts

Groceries cost too much, and planning them takes hours. Lucilla builds your family's grocery cart for the week in about a minute: real products, at real prices, from a store near you. Tell it who you're feeding, your weekly budget and your postal code. Lucilla plans the meals, sizes the portions to your household, and turns that into a shopping list priced at an actual store, with the items the store does not currently price shown honestly instead of guessed. WHAT YOU GET • A full week (or two) of meals for everyone in the house, including kids, with calorie and protein targets per person • A cart priced line by line at a real store near you, not estimates • Allergies, restrictions and "never buy" lists respected on every plan • Portions sized to your family so less food and money end up in the bin • A comparison against the national average for staple items, so you can see what your store is charging • Recipes with clear steps for every meal on the plan • Fill the cart on the store's own site in a few taps, then check out there yourself. Lucilla never orders or pays for you. WHERE IT WORKS TODAY Real store prices in Hamilton, Oakville, Milton, Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto, plus a growing list of US cities. If your area isn't covered yet, Lucilla tells you the nearest stores it does price. WHY WE BUILT IT Food prices in Canadian stores are up 29% since 2021 (Statistics Canada), and it is still hard to compare one store to the next. We are also collecting signatures for transparent grocery prices at lucilla.app/sign. ALSO IN THE APP A food and exercise journal, wearable step tracking, and free step challenges with friends. Lucilla is free. Grocery Premium is an optional upgrade for bigger households and longer plans.
