Luck Abacus User Reviews

Was very nice but not updated

When are you going to update this. It looks terrible on iPhone X and above.

Super!

Thank you for doing such a great job developing this app! The abacus is very clear and easy to use! Love it!

Nice, but buggy for now.

Beautiful app and the best looking of the abacus' [n.b. Actually not European, but Suan Pan and Soroban toggles; gives options for both]. However, in the current distribution it freezes up and must be reinstalled. Look forward to a functioning app (one time install) after I switch from iPhone 5 to 6/+ and possible further updates.

Good luck guys!

Just reread the App Store notes: last updated in 2011, so consider. (Writing 2014-12-31)

Save your money

The product stops working after install. It does not respond to touch screen rendering it useless. If reinstalled it will function for a short time. Save your money, get something else.

Lovely to work, and subtle

It is lovely to work with and has nice little touches. For example, you can run your hand laterally and beads will turn/spin on their rods, and make just the sound you would expect. Very nicely done. (I do wish that I could move the bar after calculation starts, instead of it locking down. The only way to release and move it is to switch it off and back on again.)

Not as good as the free ap

It is also not a clean one, who needs the coins for decoration? Too much stuff around it, wont fill the screen, no transparent view, texture looks fake, all looks bad compared with the free app, which has ad I hate and would rather pay o remove it. Regret my purchase of this one.

Vera realistic simulation

Very realistic simulation of suanpan and also soroban that is the chinese abacus and Japanese abacus.

Beautiful graphics!

Really nice app that looks and sounds like the real thing. The only drawback is it really draws out the battery

Excellently designed app!

Very clean and simple. You'll need to know how to use one before downloading this app!

Best Abacus App

This app is the best on the market and has several different features that make it great. It can be converted from a Suan-Pan (Chinese abacus) to a Japanese Soroban by changing the number of beads. One of the best features is that it has a pin button to lock the beads from falling from tilts and gravity.

The fact that it's free and beautiful to look at makes it the best abacus I've tried on the App Store.

Best abacus app

Tried most of the abacus apps... This one looks and feels the best of them all.
It is very simple, but offers an ideal level of touch sensitivity and fills the screen making it easy to use. It has a movable index bar, to set the decimal place, and features both the Chinese and Japanese forms of abacus.
One change I would like to see is for the abacus to display differently on the iPhone than it does on the iPad. 9 rods, and the pull down menu along the side, result in the beads being a little too small for facile use on the phone. The abacus itself should take up all the screen on the phone, with 8 rods, for a bead size that is truly usable... with a separate screen for settings, or the settings moved to the Setting app proper.

Also, please add a simple reset button or touch point that racks all beads away from the index bar.

Good abacus apps

Good abacus to use on iPad .

Good

Good keep doing better guys

Great!

This app brings this Chinese culture to the world

Beautiful UI

Works very well. It needs a more detailed help page and some instructions on the use of an abacus. Meanwhile just look it up online.
