Luke is great, but some improvements needed
I have been using Luke for a few weeks now, as my girlfriend and I are checking the market before our lease ends in July. The app works well, but there are some usability issues. Adding a second person to the chat doesn't work very well, and it isn't immediately obvious how to get exit the group chat and go back to previous results. Also, the text entry box randomly disappears, and I have to kill the app to ask Luke another question. Finally, I let Luke know that I was his father, and he didn't even respond! :( Otherwise, great app and I look forward to using it more during my search.

This app is the best of all the apps when it comes to real estate/condo/apartment/house hunting! Gives you real time informations regarding the property and blg units!
I’m a first time buyer and some of the apps I used really gave me a hard time knowing facts and informations.

Luke makes it so easy to search for homes
My partner and I are looking to buy our first place, and the hardest part with brokers has been the communication. Our friend suggested we try Luke and the difference has been like night and day. Being able to all communicate in the same group chat while searching for homes has made this process so much simpler.

Anyone looking for an apartment should download this app RIGHT NOW. Luke sent me listings within my criteria as soon as they came on the market and offered clever insights and advice along the way. Any question I had about the real estate market in NYC, purchasing in a coop, and even apartment specific questions, Luke answered. I used the “Personalized Analysis” tool to get a breakdown of what any apartment in NYC is worth - think “Zestimate” + transparency and actual data so you can see how Luke arrived at the apartment’s fair market value. Brilliant concept!

Prompt and efficient
I found the combination of chat and listings to be very convenient. Luke is very quirky and prompt with his responses. Cool tool, will use again!

Luke is the best! Found an apartment through their platform and Luke made it seamless and eliminated all the junk for me. It/he also helped me realize things I didn’t even know I wanted! Like sun exposure and in unit washer drier. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for an apartment in nyc.

Seems useless
Downloaded this because I was curious , but there is absolutely zero FAQ or About or any explanation whatsoever ever about what to expect . It just seems like an information gathering application . Not interested , uninstalled

I wish I had thought of this. Luke allows me to look for homes so much more efficiently, but at the same time I’m able to get the help I need when I need it.

Browsing for apartments with Luke is a pleasure! It’s like talking to a friend who will find all the best listings for you. He always sends me apartments that I like and eliminates the hassle of browsing through tons of listings to find the good ones. He is also super friendly, has a good sense of humor and sends the best gifs. Love Luke!!

Wanted to use and the terms of use and privacy policy link to 404 pages. So do they have no QA to catch such minor issues?

Enjoying the app
I really like this app it’s a fun way to look for an apartment, but I have one major problem with it..
The back button on iPhone app is so small that I have to press it 5+ times every time I want to go back. Which is annoying and I end up closing it down.

Luke is an IRL friend
Luke says “text me like you’d text any friend” but it’s so real it takes about 10min to reply back and sometimes leave you on read 😂

So now I got some actual listings from this service, so I updated my rating from 1 to 3 stars. However, they’re not really what I asked for. Maybe I’m old, but it seems so much easier and faster to use filters on StreetEasy than to try to figure out how to structure your commands to make this bot find the right thing for you. In the end, all it does (I assume) is take listings from the sites I already use. In a way it’s another layer on top and I’m not sure what value it adds. It definitely makes it harder to see what’s out there.
