One of the best

I’ve tried and used so many IPTV players and Lume is easily one of the best. It’s beautiful, fast, and has nearly everything I need in a media player. The recorder works great as well. You have to use Docker under Windows.

Is it perfect? No. There are a few QoL features that it needs to be perfect. A native Windows Recorder would be nice. Many other apps have one and while running Docker only for that isn’t horrible, it shouldn’t be necessary.

When navigating the menus, you never really go “back”. If you’re in a submenu and press left to go back to a higher one, the cursor just goes over and you have to find your selection again.

Integration with a local media server (Jellyfin) is great but having to switch sources to get there is less than optimal. Other apps have a button on the Home Screen to just switch and then you can click Home to switch back to Live, etc. Having to go into settings to switch and switch back seems like unnecessary steps.

Are these enough to deduct a Star? No. Maybe a half. I know the author is responsive, so maybe some of these things will get addressed. In the meantime, I did buy the Lifetime license because overall it’s a fantastic app and I’m hopeful these things are changed to make it the perfect player.

almost perfect

everything is great and affordable. the cherry on top would be a chromecast option along with airplay.

Broken

Crashed on MACOS 15

Response from developer

Sorry about that! Issue was fixed in 2.2.2

Good But Need lot of Features

This is a fantastic free IPTV player but there are several features need to be added
- Default Language selection
- Dolby Audio and Vision support
- More clean interface for Live TV
- Preview for Live TV
- For you is still loading from 2 days in Apple TV but working fine in iPhone and Mac

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! - default audio is already done and will be published in 1.9.0 - that wie being checked at the moment - will have a look - preview for live tv is on the list and will also come - there are some performance updates coming with 1.9.0 as well Feel free to join our discord for more discussion and updates

Best IPTV Player in the app store

Maybe like me, you have downloaded several different IPTV players looking for one that is affordable and does all that you need it to do. Look no further. This is by far the best IPTV player in the app store. The premium features are great and affordable with no annoying subscription. But even better, the simple, day-to-day features that will serve the average user are free. It even syncs over icloud, so when I installed it on my phone, I didn’t have to sign in again. Props to Philipp for creating an app that just works; rather than trying to gouge us with half-baked nonsense. You won’t go wrong with Lume!

Great app but needs to have sync fixed

Everything works amazing outside of when you want to change the server, everytime I try to i delete the old server i was using and it reconnects to it.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! That should have been resolved already. If it still persists, feel free to write an email to support@getlume.org

Great app

Works well for Iptv. I love that you can click and very quickly scroll all the tv channels quickly to pick what you want. Much faster than other apps I have used.
