Abandoned app, what a shame
App takes photos and saves them to the tray in a bizarre order. That’s it. It’s all but dead, what a pity, abandoned app, no updates for years. Too bad. I used to use this all the time. Now I can’t save to my camera roll. 😭 can you please fix this?

App saves photo to the the tray in an odd order. Definitely not in the order take. Very, very messed up. No longer uploads photos to Dropbox. New since iOS 12. PLEASE FIX THIS!

Far sighted?
This works great. I can zoom enough to be able to apply eye makeup in somewhat less of my old crazy woman manner. None of the teens are giggling about my new not-Halloween look. 👵🏼

I love this app but…its not longer working with my camera as the app live screen is blank. Completly black. I know this app has been around for a while but can the deloper review to see what it might be?

Great but buggy
This was a great app, a great idea, and I still use it often despite buggy behavior (saved images appear incorrectly). Hopefully it will rise from its ashes or I can find a replacement that is as helpful to me as this app has been.
Super useful app!
I love Lumin and use it more than many other apps on my iPhone 7+. It is an elegant “magnifying glass” utility that does the job extremely well. Whenever I share an image I’ve captured, it invariably draws raves and I get asked how I took such an amazing close up. Please keep this wonderful utility updated and available. I dread the day when I upgrade my phone or OS and Lumin stops working. In fact I’m writing this review after thinking about how to support the developers and encouraging them to keep this app updated. Thank you again for creating such a useful application!
Update: Lumin now shows “Failed with error - 11852 Cannot use Back Camera”. I haven’t used Lumin in a few months so am very sad that it has stopped working in iOS 12.3 on my iPhone 7+.

Buyer Beware
NO LONGER WORKS
Does not work on iOS 12 or iPhone Xr. All that displays is a black screen. If you read the 1 star ratings, you can see many people have this complaint.
Have used this program for years and it was on my favorite apps list.
Does not look like it has been updated since 2014. The developer has had plenty of time to update this app, but has not done so. My conclusion is that it is an abandoned app.

CRAP
It doesn’t work at all with my XS Max... screen is just black and camera doesn’t come on. Would like my .99 back!
No picture
I bought and downloaded. I checked setting and from or rear faced camera. I have iPhone 10xr. No picture just dark pic with or without light. Support a bit difficult to find. Have 60 pest control techs that can really use if I can get to work as stated.

Has Become Useless
It is unfortunate that the “Support” link goes nowhere and going to this Developer’s website you are just bombarded with advertising but still no support.
With a recent iOS update Lumin now presents with a black screen and no longer displays the intended image.
Deleting Lumin and reinstalling has caused no improvement.
This is really too bad to see a slick and useful App such as Lumin fade away.
The only solution left is to just delete it and look for a replacement.

Change phones now no camera
I have had no developer contact and cannot find support for this app anywhere. It has been a good out but now I am really ticked I would give it a zero if possible. I have been using Lumin for years and have been very pleased and satisfied with the product. I have two iPhones one for work where I work with the blind in the other personal. I just upgraded my new phone and the camera will not work.I have been all over the website looking for support or someplace to contact support and cannot find any such thing. I have changed my rating from 5 to 1 because it is no longer functional.

8+ needs help
I have loved this app since I first put it on my 4S several years ago. It works very well on my 6+ and my iPad Pro third generation. But for some reason I cannot make it work on the 8+. I can view previously saved images, but I cannot create new images as it always shows the screen to be black. I hope something can be done to correct this problem.PLEASE!!! I use Lumin often multiple times a day and I am really really missing it.
