About
Smart Peripherals are sensor-based tools that measure learner clinical interventions and provide real-time feedback on performance. Using Smart Peripherals, learners can administer IV medications, perform CPR, practice ventilation via BVM, and intubate, using any task trainer or standardized patient.
The Lumis Smart Peripherals application communicates with these devices and presents the real-time feedback to the instructor, allowing for assessment of successful interaction. Training sessions can be recorded, saved, and used for debriefing.
The Lumis Smart Peripherals application is designed solely for use with Smart Peripheral devices. If you are interested in integrating manikin-agnostic, hands-on training with Smart Peripherals into your program, reach out to contact@lumiscorp.com.
Smart Peripheral devices are only for use as learning tools in a simulation environment. They do not diagnose or treat patients, and are not meant to be used in a clinical or patient treatment setting.
