The app is not working
It’s not working at all. it’s not receiving any of my transactions. i can’t get a hold of anyone on. management. it’s terrible. i’m going to cancel if i can’t get help!
My Home Screen won’t load and I’ve contacted support multiple times with no response.
Frustrating because it’s helped keep me organized and made tax season easier. But it’s no longer working properly.

1 star until my disk use error is solved. I can’t even access my books!! Will update my review when they finally decide to get back to me.

There are bugs/issues in the app, and I’ve submitted tickets to support with zero response. Cancelling my subscription.

I’ve used this app for years but it seems to be dead now. I’ve been having issues classifying transactions and asked for assistance. It’s been over 2 weeks with no response, updates, etc. I’m canceling my subscription.
Not Great
I do not have time to go into it all, but it is not that user-friendly. I have to use it because I’m using QuickBooks for my other business. If I could, I would dump it.

Life Saver!
I used GoDaddy Bookkeeping for 7 years but now all of a sudden mid year they retired on me! I didn’t know what to do. I had trouble finding something similar that was basic and easy that would work for me being a sole proprietor. Then I found this Lunafi app… it’s super easy like I’m used to and will continue to save me a LOT of time. There’s a few things I would add which I submitted to the developers but other than that A+!! This app saved me from a lot of trouble!! Thank you.

This app has been an absolute godsend! I used to spend hours poring over my bank account and inputting data to a Google sheet. Needless to say, tax season was a nightmare.
Now Lunafi makes it super easy to classify transactions, label income by client, and create rules that will automatically categorize transactions for me. I especially appreciate being able to set income targets and compare my earnings by month/quarter/year so my estimated tax payments are no longer shots in the dark.
In the 2 years since I started using Lunafi, I’ve been able to level up my freelancing business and break six figures. I recommend this app to all freelancers, regardless of whether you’re seasoned or just starting out!

Ease of Use
For those with small businesses I recommend this service. Having the ability to connect all my business checking and credit accounts makes write offs so easy. Categorizing my expenses makes it easy to do and by the end of the year it helps me file taxes. This app for sure makes sure you are getting the most out of your money.

Good app, add personal spending categories
I’ve been testing out the app for a couple of months and it’s design is great, simple to navigate and color schemes are attractive. Couple of features I wish it had:
- categories for personal spending for those of us who like to track personal and business sides in the same app
- fewer taps to categorize a transaction
Auto categorization feature that applies to past transactions is fantastic.
Tip: the design of the quick books self employed app (not the actual service) is very good and it’d be good to take some cues from it.

So simple & helpful!
I am a recent college graduate and new to the freelance world so everything was a little terrifying at first. The one thing I have been warned about over and over again is making sure to save money for taxes at the end of the year while self-employed. I hadn’t found a tool that would help me do this until Lunafi. The app is so simple to use and helps me analyze my income vs. expenses and what I will owe for taxes. I definitely have more piece of mind seeing my finances all in one place and Lunafi makes it so easy to differentiate between clients as well. A must-use tool for any freelancer!

This app has been one of the most helpful tools I've used in years! I use it mainly to track my finances from my different freelance clients. I can also get real-time estimates of my taxes, and you also see estimates for tax deductions which is super helpful - I've even discovered new items that I can deduct!! I've worked for years as a contractor and Lunafi helps easily keep your expenses straight while also calculating your write-offs. Say goodbye to booking.
