About

The bite has its hour. The lake stills. A ripple where there was nothing. Then the rod tip trembles — and the whole day makes sense. Every angler lives for that stretch of time. The trouble is reaching it before it passes. Lunoris was made for people who would rather read the water than chase noise. THE SOLUNAR WATCH At the centre of the app is a 24-hour dial built for your coordinates — not the nearest city's forecast, but the sky above your spot. Blue arcs mark the major windows: the two hours each day when fish, by long observation, feed with purpose. Gold traces minor periods at moonrise and moonset. Moon overhead and underfoot sit at the top and bottom of the face. A hand moves through your local time. One look tells you where you stand. Inside the window? Twenty minutes early? Already past the peak? No almanac. No arithmetic. The whole day, readable at a glance. THE FISHING SCORE Below the dial, a score from 0 to 100 weighs moon phase, solunar timing, weather, barometric pressure, and geomagnetic activity into one plain verdict — Excellent, Good, Fair, or Poor. Leave now, or wait for the next arc? Lunoris lets you decide before you rig a rod. WHERE THE IDEA COMES FROM Anglers were reading the moon and barometer long before anyone shipped an app. In 1926, John Alden Knight went through thousands of catch records and found what old hands already suspected: feeding often clusters into windows tied to the moon passing overhead, underfoot, at rise, and at set. For a hundred years those tables lived in almanacs and pocket notebooks. Barometer lore lived in porch talk — pressure holding, fish willing; pressure falling, bite gone quiet. Lunoris brings both traditions onto one screen — Knight's windows, today's weather, pressure trend, twilight, geomagnetic activity — for your water, not someone else's. INSIDE THE APP — ALL OF IT, FREE Solunar Watch — the full bite day before you load the car. Fishing Score — one number from moon, solunar peaks, pressure trend, wind, cloud, season, and Kp. The same logic on Home, calendar, and widget. Best Targets — which fish families are likely active near you today. 365-day Calendar — scroll months ahead and pick days when moon and solunar line up. Active Sessions and "Caught!" — start a session on the bank. One tap records a fish with GPS, a photo, and a snapshot of the sky exactly as it was. Journal — sessions, catches, photographs; a private log, not a spreadsheet. Your Map — every spot you have earned, kept on your device alone. Personal Insights — over time, your patterns emerge: moon phases, pressure bands, baits, hours, success by spot. Nothing leaves the phone. Home Screen Widget — score and peak window for each saved location. Notifications — strong days, major solunar periods, sudden pressure shifts. Fishing Restrictions — local rules where data exists. ON THE WATER Moon and solunar math run on your phone without a signal. Weather updates when you have one; if a front outruns the forecast, tap Recalculate now. Dawn on a lake you have fished for years. A cliff of falling pressure at dusk. One free hour — is the drive worth it? Lunoris trades guesswork for a clear read. Everything included. No subscription. No ads. The score is angling tradition turned into software — a guide, not a promise. Know your regulations. Fish carefully.

Introducing the Lunoris Report: one tap, and your fishing session turns from a boring logbook into a full-blown cinematic teaser. What's inside? Catch photos: Even if it's just a single perch the size of your finger — in the frame, it'll look like a great white. We'll add the bite rating and the moon phase. Number magic: Weather, moon phase, how long you sat in that heron-like stance, and how many times you switched bait. Brag editor: Don't need the moon? Erase it. Want to add that "the pike went for a dry clove"? Be our guest! Three life scenarios where this saves your reputation: Caught a trophy and released it? Perfect! Now you've got a slick pic where you look like an eco-friendly superhero, not just some guy who forgot his keepnet. Love taking photos with your catch? Dude, now it looks like a magazine cover, not like a mugshot from the fisheries inspectorate. Caught ab-so-lute-ly nothing, but had a fantastic time? Whoa! Now you can share a report with an "Activity: 0" graph, a gorgeous sunset, and the caption: "Better to be good-looking and sober in the wild than wet and grumpy in the city." So save it, drop it in your chats, and enjoy the comments. The main thing is — you were out there, not in here. And the report… it'll just remind you of that tomorrow morning, when you're having your coffee and wondering if you should head out again.
