We apologize for the confusion and any inconvenience caused by the initial subscription prompt upon opening Lux Light Meter Pro. We understand how this might have led you to believe that free features are unavailable. You can bypass the subscription screen by tapping the "X" button located at the top-left corner. This action will close the subscription prompt and grant you access to the app's free functionalities, including: Light Intensity Measurement - obtain real-time readings of light intensity in lux and foot-candle units.
Good App, sparse documentation
What is difference between indoor and outdoor (toggled by selecting icon) for lux? Selecting outdoor makes number much higher. What does this difference mean?
This feature not explained and I could not find comprehensive documentation.

This adjustment ensures that the app provides accurate readings across various environments. For instance, indoor lighting levels often range from 100 to 500 lux, depending on the setting, whereas outdoor daylight can exceed 10,000 lux. By selecting the appropriate setting, you can obtain more accurate measurements tailored to your specific environment.
