Has a weird lowest-light-condition cap
In very dark situations (night time long exposure photography, for example) the meter stops measuring under what’s the equivalent of iso 400, f11, 8 seconds. In situations that require 60 second exposure for iso400, f11, it still gives 8 seconds.
Could have been great, but unusable for my purpose because of this cap.

Only free for 3 days
Only 3 days are free. Then you pay monthly or annually. I don’t like it when this isn’t transparent before downloading. Feels manipulative. I’d be more likely to buy if the developer was honest from the get-go.

Как выйти из режима экспонометра ? Чтобы вернуться обратно в люксометр приходится переустанавливать приложение.
No way to switch to light meter
It switched from Light Metre to some kind of professional photography interface, and there is no way to switch it back. It says double tap, but it just doesn’t work.
Difficult and confusing
I wanted just a light meter / measuring app. It started out fine, but then I clicked something accidentally and got into photo mode. Could not get out; still can’t. It said to “double tap” to exit, but that hasn’t worked. Tried changing the settings and it’s just advertising the ways to pay - but I have. Don’t pay money for this app - find something else that actually works.

Looks great, doesn’t work
Why do lumens only show up as the values 2 → 55 → 94 → 145 → 214 … with the actual number flickering around /- 3 for each? Try this experiment: move the spot along a brightness gradient. Or change your computer monitor brightness. You'll never see a number /- 3 away from those values. Tested it on 3 different iPhones. So if error margins < 50 lumens are unacceptable to you, avoid.

asks to upgrade to pro every 5 seconds even when you’ve already upgraded (unfortunately). readings are never consistent and vary by a couple orders of magnitude depending on how it’s feeling.

Tried to use the 3 day free trial, did not work whatsoever. Reinstalled and tried to restore purchases but still could not use any paid features
Inaccurate max and average values
I used this app in the past with my students to measure lux averages in classrooms, but the updated version has a major glitch. When we make our measurements, the app makes an initial measurement that is WAY too high that spikes the Max value. That Max value then overweights the average Lux value that we’re trying to get. I’d love to see this glitch get fixed because it was such an easy to use app for us in the past.

Wasting my time
Gave OK to charge my cc. Tried to set shutter speed and ISO using sliding scale, and I just got endless pop ups telling me about my subscription, but settings not saved. Why can’t it be simple? Don’t waste your time。
Vague, lacks specificity
Am I supposed to multiply the FC # by 100? 1000? I doubt my 400 watt HPS grow light is putting out 290 FC at one foot away. 29,000 makes sense, but I shouldn’t have to assume….

Used to be an exceptional app
This used to be an exceptional app. Had a light meter that told you the lumens for whatever area you aimed your camera at. Now they’ve changed it and it’s just a big mess that doesn’t do what I paid for. Just a bunch of junk I don’t need and no instructions on how to get the old light meter back. What a joke.
