Charged an unauthorized charge

Download the app and a week later it charged my account without authorization

Not a fan of setup

Free trial offered but 12.99 per week?!? Give me a break! How’s about AFTER the trial you allow your customers to decide and not hope they forget to cancel for what might be a lousy product? I call this deceptive marketing. I’m out.

Didn’t work for me

I tried this app under my SF G5000 commercial grow light to determine the PPFD based off the lux. The app showed roughly 1,300 lux with my light at 1/3 power roughly 24” above my canopy. With these settings, it should have shown a reading exceeding 10,000 lux. Perhaps this is a limitation of my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’m sure this app is fine for casual users, but for commercial use, it’s better to invest in a PAR meter.

I didn’t even know that I paid it $9.99

I was trying to find a lux light meter app to roughly test my bedroom. I downloaded a few and tried them for 1 or 2 minutes then deleted them all. After one month I received credit card statement saying I made a purchase of $9.99 in this app?! Are you kidding me? I was not even aware that I made this purchase. Who would be willing to pay $9.99 for a week to use a light meter app?! This app needs to be reported.

Absolutely random measurements and forced subscription

It has absolutely random measurements. I compared three apps. Two of them showed about 250 lux in my room, while this one showed 60. When I brought my phone under a source of bright light, other two apps showed about 1000 lux, while this one showed over 5000.
During the first minute of use of this app, it showed me two very ambiguous screens that force you to get a weekly subscription.
As you can probably guess, I’m deleting it

Who pays $9.99/week for a light meter app you can get for free. They need to be reported.

Inaccurate reading

Room is bright as sun yet says too dim, but not too dim to ask for money right away! Deleted.

Great quality for price

Takes a little long, but really good, same results over different experiments on same subject.

Not free and very easy to accidentally pay

This app makes it seem like it's free but then while setting it up I accidentally agree to the paid plan. There is no way to get a refund and no contact information to reach the developer.
