Hasn’t worked right since it started
App is useless. I can’t even open it on my iPhone. Can’t update firmwares shown within the App. Use Domotz. At least that works.
Wow wast of work
This has been one of the most disappointing pieces of software I’ve ever used. Now I can understand why most people are moving over to other platforms and equipment other than Luxul. Thank goodness I only have one client on this piece of software. But unfortunately, now I cannot even reset or update firmware on this clients equipment. Luxul used to be such a great name in the field of A/v ingraders. Not sure what happened to them. Can’t blame it on the pandemic.

Crash Crash Crash
When I first installed ProWatch it worked nicely, but now it crashes every time. Absolutely useless.
Works. Kind of
Very helpful for tracking clients and their network. Since last update app crashes more often than not. A reboot of your device helps but crashes come back.
Luxul Should be Embarrassed

Great app if only worked
Once it starts crashing, the only fix is to delete it & re-download it. Come on Luxul get it together.

For such a large well know brand of network gear they have torpedo their product with a app that could have elevated them. This why so many company’s have switched to other platforms. Very disappointing that while other during Covid found new way to invest in there products others chose not too.
Worthless
This app and the “Pro Watch” service are absolutely worthless and mostly do not work. Been like this for years. Not worth the time to download and try to setup because it constantly forgets all of the settings you “save”. They must not hire actual software engineers to write this because it may be the worst software I have every come across. Sad for any sized company.

Useless
For a company like Luxul, I hoped it would be more reliable. It crashes most of the time.
As a professional integrator, It frustrates me to use it most of the time because it keeps crashing. I can’t access my customers equipment to troubleshoot issues.
I love Luxul equipment. I am just surprised they came up with such an unreliable app.

App went from bad no not functional
As of iOS 16.1.1 the App just crashes at launch. When it did work it was barely functional telling me there were firmware updates but no way to update, realized when I checked the web portal there actually were no firmware updates. Doesn’t follow any App standards. Just seems like it is just a web app vs a native app.

Horrible app
I started deploying luxul networks and Wi-Fi to give ‘em a try vs UniFi and others. I love their equipment and WAPs but this app is an abomination. It’s really disappointing. I hope you guys fix this app and the pro watch platform.
Installs Dated Firmware Versions!!! Site Mapping Error!
After updating Luxul firmware for my Luxul APs and Controller via the admin portal, I noticed the link to the Luxul ProWatch app and downloaded.
While the app is a better user experience than the admin portal, the ProWatch IOS app incorrectly assesses the newest firmware version already installed and replaces it with a slightly older version.
Upon installing Luxul ProWatch iOS and setting up, the app stated that my 5-Luxul units had new software updates available. The firmware on my 810 APs had already been updated to the current v8.3.2 via the admin portal.
The IOS app then ‘updated’ the 810 AP firmware to an OLDER version that the IOS app deemed as current and stated that all firmware was current with no further updates available. However, the Luxul Firmware site clearly stated that v8.3.2 was the current version.
Going back to the local admin portal on my Luxul network, the auto-update feature was able to re-update the firmware to the current version correcting the mistakes of the IOS ProWatch firmware update tool.
Another issue is the mapping feature — the site dot based on the address entered is off by 1.5 miles despite the app drawing from Apple Maps, which displays my address position correctly. Coding appears sloppy on the Site Maps and Firmware upgrade functions.
Given the current state of this app, you are better off using the local admin portal to manage + firmware update your Luxul network equipment as this app is pretty basic and flawed.

Doesn’t Work
Don’t waste your time downloading. It just doesn’t work. Tried creating a site on the app and the web and it thought I was transferring ownership of the site.
Extremely amateurish which is a telling sign of Luxul and their customer care.

Pointless
Doesn’t work at all. Luxul equipment itself is pretty rubbish anyway, I had the misfortune of being forced to install it…never again!

Huge improvement with latest updates. ProWatch does everything I need it to. Saves me a ton of money on truck rolls and keeps my clients happy!
Not So Good
To start off...as an A/V contractor Luxul is my go to networking choice. The app however worked for a little while then it didn’t. It stopped letting me add new customers to the account for unknown reasons. Now since the latest update It will not populate information for my existing customer accounts. Best advise here...add Snap A/V’s OVRC PRO...it’s way more stable and way more robust.

Terrible app
This app is horrible… At one time it actually seemed to work decent for about a week - you could actually get feedback on switch ports… However for the past few weeks it’s literally been useless… I tried calling Luxul to see if by some chance they had any input and their tech-support guy was very poorly informed on their product… His advice was literally delete the app and reinstall it...which I did and had absolutely no effect
