GPS problems in Massachusetts
The app does not give precise locations on where to turn in Boston and sometimes the Arrow disappears . I dropped off a passanger and had a passenger in the que in the same exact spot as my drop off and the app maked me drive around and back to the spot a waste of 5 minutes and gas.
Worst customer service
One of the worst driver support, don’t expect anything in the name of support from this company, if you are working for this company you are on your own and this company is not at all bothered about your safety and mental health.

Since you guys have stopped paying us the return tolls when I drop people off from new York to New Jersey I’m canceling each and every ride that’s going to New Jersey from New York

The amount you earned versus the mileage and gas that you put on your vehicles doesn’t outweigh the costs. Also, the customer service is horrible hoping to have better experiences as time goes on.

The turn by turn navigation within the app is a little cumbersome. For somebody who knows the area a destination upfront would be a really nice thing.

Terrible Driver Platform
Lyft is the worst service platform out there. They don’t care for the drivers at all. These days passengers are making fake accusations on drivers such as sexual harassment to claim free rides. And Lyft is supporting that, without even investigating the full details they will just deactivate the drivers account and not even give them a chance to hear their side of story. Not only that they report these fake accusations with no proof to the background screening. Lyft is out there destroying innocent people’s life. Drivers stay away from this platform.

Forced Update Uber Better
The App will force an update and the pay is much lower now for everyone. Your ride request is not guaranteed is wrongly stated! It was offered and so it is not guaranteed it will be offered. Vice versa it will not be guaranteed I and the drivers will accept the trash offers. Decline decline!

Lyft y Uber. En el orden que quieras ponerlo, deben ser el top de apps que abusan de la necesidad de los drivers. Le doy 3 estrellas porque aparece gente muy amable que te hacen el dia mas llevadero pero, en general. This new update is the worst thing that has ever happened to this app…
Since Saturday when I received the update for this app, I have had the worst driving experience of my entire career.
Let’s start with the fact that flash turbo is all but gone now. There used to be consistent flash turbo in my city. At the very least it’d be around 10-20%, especially during peak bar hours and airport hours. Since the update I have literally seen ZERO flash turbo in a week, and since the base rates are disrespectfully low as it is, we HEAVILY RELY ON THESE OFFERS.
That alone makes me want to quit slaving away for y’all and ruining my car in the process, because I can BARELY afford wear and tear as it is. My acceptance rate is at the floor under 10%, and I used to be a gold driver regularly. The reason I’m not anymore is because LYFT IS MAKING THIS JOB COMPLETELY UNSUSTAINABLE.
When the base rates for rides is averaging $.50 a mile, you’re basically spitting in the faces of every driver who’s out here currently paying $5 a gallon for gas on average across the nation. Previously y’all cared enough to pay us a stipend per mile during high gas prices, but now y’all spit in our faces and laugh in your offices.
I don’t care about your shareholders, or your CEO bonuses, or your profit margins. I care about being able to make a living off of this once excellent opportunity, which has genuinely turned into something that feels akin to when mining companies in the early 1900s were allowed to make their own currency then only accept it at the company store and also charge such high prices that they lived in a mountain of debt to the company. The only difference is my debt is to other shady companies because I have to buy groceries and sometimes gas on credit.
So let’s get that base rate closer to $2 a mile (which also coincidentally nets YOU GUYS MORE MONEY, lets be real that’s all corporations care about), let’s bring back flash turbo in the markets you’ve decided to rug pull like a crypto scammer, and let’s treat the drivers like people instead of expendable pawns because we’re all sick of being treated like dirt.
