진짜 저번달까지만 해도 이정도 아니였는데 광고 무슨일이에요? 노래 하나 들으려면 광고 3개씩 봐야하는데 너무 불편하네요

Not the same anymore

Used to be great, had no ads & was a great free version of Spotify. Now it’s all ads, click something, boom ad. Over and over and over again. Worse than Spotify.

I understand the ads are frustrating. Free options include earning Premium through referrals and, when your app shows the reward-video offer, using it for the displayed ad-free period. Eligible users can also use Lyra's Creator route. Otherwise, Premium removes ads.

Not paying for premium

So I really enjoyed Lyra despite its multitude of bugs/quality of life issues. The app lags, had issues of starting up and I can’t listen to certain songs because it will play a different song with the same name. I was very patient with Lyra for months by either waiting for fixes or looking for work arounds.

But now? The recent update featuring all the ads? No thanks.

It’s laughable that you call the subscription “Premium” when the app didn’t provide a premium service in the first place.

Hi Ccccaphe, I read that you stuck with Lyra through app lag, startup issues, and song-matching problems, but the recent ad-heavy update crossed the line for you. That's fair, you were patient through bugs, and then the free tier changed.

Love the app! Few recommendations.

So first of all i love your app but i have a few questions. Can you make a button where everything from Spotify transfers not just playlists? Can you also make a button to hide a song from a specific playlist? That’s all for me! Love your app once again!!!

Music DONT GET THIS APP

There are far to many glitches like when I turn off my phone it will replay the same song over and over and I can’t even skip the song and I have to restart the app to get it working properly but then after like 10 mins it’ll start acting up again apart from those few things the app is great but also you can’t find other peoples playlists which would be a good thing they should add because I can always remake a playlist. On top of that there’s an add for absolutely everything it’s actually ridiculous at this point and you’ll want to play one song and it’ll play a completely different song it makes no sense

Has gone down hill

They added such interruptive ads that it will literally stop your music and the ads are so loud and obnoxious. I’ve noticed the app has also gotten worse after the ads. It continuously stop the music when I turn off my phone and sometimes the ads won’t let you click off of them. Find a different app, Lyra has gone down hill so bad

Song options

its realy good and i dont really mind the ads although they're annoying however the app lags abit also many songs arent what they say they are. For example, i play 'Hotel Room Service' and it plays a completely different song. Its infuriating. Or when I play 'Thinking of you' By Katy Perry or other pop songs itll play the acoustic version. If i wanted that version i would've searched for it. Please fix this.

Hi Axmina, thanks for flagging this, getting the wrong version of a song when you search for the original is definitely frustrating. I'm logging this now so we can investigate the mismatch with 'Hotel Room Service', 'Thinking of You', and the acoustic versions showing up instead.

Unusable

I used it for a couple months and it was perfect until they started to add pop up ads every 5 seconds and everytime you click anything ull get an ad. It literally made the app unusable, and it constantly lags now.

Worse than Spotify free tier

Lyra was initially advertised as a completely free music app - an alternative to Spotify. However, after the latest update, it barely operates properly and it has an unbearable amount of ads - the same as or more than Spotify, yet the functionality is still miles behind Spotify. The ad-free, no cost guide was simply a marketing strategy to gain tons of users and positive reviews and later add ads - they used us to gain popularity.

Ads glitch out

The ads make my app freeze up and make it hard to actually select a song. I have opened the app 6 times before I was finally able to get it to play a song and I still had to sit through 2 ads. If this is how the app will be from now on I’m considering deleting it because I’m not interested in another glitchy advertisement filled headache. And I’m not interested in paying another fee in life just to enjoy some music, of which we are paying way too many these days. I’d rather just hand the actual artists some cash atp

Super toll außer kleinigkeiten

Ich benutze Lyra jetzt schon seit gut 2 Monaten schon und es war ehrlich ein Schnauf frischer Luft im Vergleich zu Spotify wo man bei fast jeden dritten Lied lange Werbung bekam und nur limitiert Skippen konnte. Lyra ist darin definitiv ein großer Upgrade.

Doch irgendwann hab ich bemerkt dass die Lyrics nicht mehr kostenlos zu sehen waren. War zwar schade, aber nicht so dramatisch für mich. Aber jetzt kriege ich aufeinmal oft Werbung sobald ich auf der App bin und es ist sehr nervig. Ich bin zu Lyra gewechselt um der Werbung zu entgehen. Ich die Entscheidung einfach schade, es macht die App mehr nervig und stressiger zu nutzen weil ich mich schon beim aufmachen der App wegen der Werbung stressen muss die jede Sekunde kommen könnte.

Sonst hab ich nichts großartig zu klagen, das einzige was ich vielleicht noch erwähnen wollen würde ist das manche Lieder anscheinend vertauschte Titel haben zu scheinen oder nach ein bestimmten Lied auszusehen mit Künstler, Cover und allem, aber es am Ende doch ein Lied von jemand ganz anderen ist. Ich weiß nicht ob das ein glitch oder Fehler der Art ist, aber ich hoffe es kann in irgendeiner Art beholfen werden

Very happy with the app however what happened to the whole “we don’t have ads and we will not have ads” ridiculous, every company is just so greedy. You are a third party streaming app. Stop thinking you’re Spotify
