About

Most notes apps don't know what a bar is. Lyracle does. A 100% free lyric notebook built for the way rappers actually write: line by line, in time, with rhymes on hand the second you need them. No subscription, no ads, no paywalls. WRITE IN BARS Every line is a bar, counted as you go. Hit enter, the number goes up. Drop a section break and the count resets, so your verse, hook, and bridge stay separate without you managing anything. No formatting to fight. Just the next line, waiting. RHYMES WHILE YOU WRITE Suggestions appear as you type, drawn from a phonetic algorithm built on pronunciation data and scored on sound and stress rather than spelling. Slant rhymes, near-rhymes, and phrases that land right when you say them out loud. This isn't AI. There's no model guessing at what might rhyme and no server round-trip waiting to answer. It's an algorithm reading phonemes, running on your phone; instant, offline, and consistent. SEARCH ANY RHYME Got a word in mind? Search it directly and pull the full set back, ranked by how close each one lands. Chase a specific sound instead of waiting for it to surface. WRITE TO A BEAT Load a beat and write in time with it. Play, pause, and loop from the transport without leaving your verse. Bars written in silence don't always sit in the pocket. This lets you hear the pocket while you're filling it. PROMPTS WHEN YOU'RE STUCK A blank page is the hardest beat to write to. Tap for a prompt and get an angle, an image, or an idea to push off from. There when you want them, invisible when you don't.

What's New in Lyracle

1.1

September 27, 2026

This update makes rhyme suggestions faster and more accurate, and improves the beat player’s performance. Faster suggestions. Rhyme suggestions appear about 8 times faster as you write. More accurate rhymes. Suggestions follow how a line is actually stressed. For example, "the coast is clear" now rhymes on "clear" rather than on "is clear". Suggestions whose word endings only look alike, or whose stress doesn't match, are filtered out. Longer rhymes. When a line supports a longer rhyme, the app now offers it before short one-word rhymes. Bigger dictionary. More than 550 new multi-syllable words and phrases were added, a number of misspellings and incorrect pronunciations were fixed, and a few low-quality suggestions were removed. Better handling of slang, abbreviations and numbers. Words the dictionary doesn't know, such as slang, word forms and compound words, are now worked out (entirely on the device). Abbreviations that are said letter by letter are shown that way, for example "d.m.v". Smoother playback. The lyric editor no longer redraws itself constantly while a beat is playing.
