Apple Music Audiophile Rejoice!
I will echo what’s been said in prior reviews. This solves a real problem for those of us who use Apple Music, but also have quality DACs that we want to feed the best possible data. What this does is allow me to use an old iPhone as my streamer delivering bit-perfect data from Apple Music) and control it from another iPhone, or an iPad, or for me, the AppleTV. And the interface is impeccable. I can do everything in Lysoniq that I routinely do in Apple Music, especially listening to the playlists that Apple creates for me based on my listening. It looks great, it sounds great, it solves a real problem and it’s way more affordable than purchasing an external streamer. For context, I purchased an EverSolo T8. I wanted to love it. It did sound good. But the support for Apple Music was so poor I returned it. The integration between the T8 hardware and the remote control software was so lame, I sent it back. Tim Fagan is the Donald Fagan of app development. Could not be happier (and PS, I never write App Store reviews). Bravo Tim, and thank you.

Exceeds all my expectations!
I’ve tried streaming hi-Res Lossless Apple Music for years using a Mac, iPad and dedicated streaming device running on an Android OS. The iPad connected to an external DAC is the best solution for many reasons, but Apple doesn’t offer a screen mirroring solution to allow you to control the iPad from your listening position. LysoniQ provides lag-free, Hi-Res, Lossless Apple Music remote control on any Apple Device from any other Apple device. Period. Best $15 I’ve ever spent on my 2-channel system.

This has made the process a lot easier, already difficult because of our dear apples’ decisions to make accessing hi res audio so tricky. AMAZING
I recently heard about this app, and have installed it on my Mac mini, which I use as a music server/player in our home entertainment center. I bought it, downloaded it, and BAM! Everything works! It was so nicely engineered and thought out that installation and use was seamless. I’m streaming from Apple Music and hi-res lossless resolution, and controlling the app using my iPhone wirelessly. Perfect
Saw a YouTube video on this App from Darko Audio. It’s perfect for my set up. I’m using my iPad (connected to DAC) as the music player for hi res lossless audio and my iPhone as the controller. All works smoothly in the App. Thank you for this terrific product. 👍❤️
Great product
This is really good. I bought it on the strength of the Darko Youtube review and because it was so cheap, and it just works beautifully. I’ve tried Audirvana, Roon, etc. and none of them read my library and playlists completely. This jumped in and delivered. The automatic file size switching is a boon, and I was following up recommended recordings on Day 1. A joy to use.

Korean language support

Good App but,
I saw the Darko review and downloaded this app. The layout is OK, the functionality is very good, but the bit perfect playback on my headphone setup was not as good as a similar app. I use the BitPerfect app because I get a better soundstage, separation and placement from it.

Ich betreibe Apple Music vom Mac an einen externen DAC. Immer von der Couch zum MAC oder Kabelverbindung iPhone/iPad zum DAC. Nun endlich eine echte Fernsteuerung für Apple Music ohne Kabel. Fast könnte man sagen „Apple Music Connect“ - echt super und ein Gamechanger. Nun ist der Umstieg auf einen anderen Streamingdienst erst mal vom Tisch. Danke für die Entwicklung und macht weiter.

Does everything it says on the tin and does it really well. I use it every day.
Excellent, but with a small caveat
This app is fantastic, the interface is lovely and the connection between devices in my testing was spot on. There is however an issue for me that means it’s not going to work for me. I specifically wanted to use it to connect from my phone to my AppleTV which is set up as a headless device, but, of course, the Lysoniq app needs to be open (or at least launched) on the ATV in order for the device to show up on my iPhone. It’s not a failure of the app, and it’s totally logical, but sadly means this is not going to be the right solution in my niche case.
I do however highly recommend the app, it was wonderful to use and is a credit to the developer. If I end up getting a small screen for the Apple TV then I would consider this app essential.

Thanks for the kind review! You can use the iOS shortcut "Open App on Apple TV" to Open Lysoniq on your Apple TV while the unit is headless. A real solution
This is perhaps the best solution to the conundrum of using AppleMusic as a streaming platform of a Hi-Res stereo system. Not only does it provides the convenience of a remote control, but it also allow us to get bit-perfect streaming to a DAC, thus by-passing my Mac’s oversampling. And, as a bonus, the developer answer questions rather rapidly in a very serviceable manner. Simply love it!

Finally an app that can remotely control Apple Music HiRes Streams on another device. Well worth the money.
Does what it says it does extremely well (and more)
I got Lysoniq on recommendation from some audiophiles on a forum, and I’m so glad I did. It works flawlessly, and it’s still being worked on and improved. I haven’t been this happy with a piece of software in ages.
Finally Apple Music Works
I have a deep appreciation for the developer of Lysonic. What they did Apple was unable to do. Not only do I now have a working remote for Apple Music but the music sounds better! The interface is very similar to Apple Music so there is very little learning curve. Lysonic works from my iPhone, iPad and MacBook. Same music plays so it is seamless going from one interface to the other. There are still bugs to work out, some lag, some tracks that will not play but this is a small sacrifice. Apple’s Remote was tragic and getting worse with every system update. So glad to have Lysonic.
