Abdul Kalam's PURA vision (Providing Urban amenities in Rural Areas), MaaPura connects every citizen, non-resident villager (NRV), artisan, donor and administrator — so rural India can reach services, opportunities and support that were once out of reach. What you can do with MaaPura: • Citizen Registry & Family Tree — Register your household, link family members and keep your village records up to date. • Government Schemes — Discover central and state schemes you are eligible for, with benefits, required documents and how to apply. • GramaShoppe Marketplace — Buy authentic handmade village products, or sell as an artisan. 85% of every sale goes directly to the artisan and 5% to the village development fund. • GramaDaan Donations — Support village causes and receive 80G tax-exemption certificates by email. • Health & Elderly Care — Track vitals for elders and let non-resident children follow their parents' well-being remotely (with consent). • Blood Registry (Jeevan Daan) — Find nearby blood donors during emergencies. • Grievance Redressal — Raise civic issues and track their resolution. • Know Your Village — Facilities, directory, events and local leadership. • GramaGreen — Register trees, join plantation drives and get weather updates. Your privacy, protected: MaaPura is built to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). Aadhaar numbers are stored only as a one-way hash — never in plaintext. Health and financial details are field-level encrypted. You control who can see your data through granular, per-field consent, and you can withdraw consent or request deletion at any time.
