Played for about two months so and love it

GREAT free to play game. Tons of cards and plenty of free/easy to get materials to craft cards you want. Join a clan asap and you can get materials easily.

The gameplay is fantastic and you can make the same Spellslingers/planeswalkers play a variety of decks. Matchmaking is quick and fun. The actual strategies are way more fun than other games I got into like hearthstone and you don’t end up with a hand of all lane cards or no land cards like in regular Magic, which was always insane to me that they never solved that problem but people still play it.

Allow outside audio sources

I’ve been playing for over a month now and I’ve been throughly loving the game. However I do not want to use the in game sound and instead listen to outside audio sources for music and podcasts. The fact that the game forces any other audio source to shut down when you open the app even with all of the sound settings turned off is very silly. It would be a very easy fix to disable that feature to allow players to listen to what they want when playing.

Really Fun

This game is awesome. The games are very quick paced and simple. I have one suggestion however, the character models in the lobby look kinda funky and weird. It’s not so much that I can’t play the game without laughing, but Nissa looks like she’s seen some things. The one that bothers me the most is Ral. He looks like he just committed a crime and is trying to act natural. These are fine though, I’m not trying to govern how you guys design your characters, but it’s just my personal opinion. Also, I don’t know how you guys add new Spellslingers, if you have a list or what, but I would like to see Tibalt as a Spellslinger. Other then these, you guys are doing great, keep up the good work.

A much needed IP for Wizards

Let’s face it magic the gathering is the best card game out there. I have delved and invested into all of them heavily. Hearthstone, pokemon, Yugioh, Magic, etc etc. The art and lore of magic the gathering along with the competitiveness and mechanics make it far superior to any other. HOWEVER (and this is a big however) as a 32 year old father and husband I don’t always have the time or money to enjoy mtg arena or fnm. So I often find myself mindlessly playing hearthstone. I’m glad it’s there it is great for what it is. But a simplified version of magic for phones fills a niche I think many will enjoy. The tutorial is a bit long prior to providing freedom which makes sense as people of all ages will be downloading this. But good job and keep up the good work Wizards. We love you.
