Battery ALWAYS shows 100% on my CBL1600pro
Glitchy disaster
Took many attempts to pair my device with the app. It continually disconnected while I was customizing modes of operation leaving modes half set up. It eventually paired and connected with only enough time for me to give up and restore factory default settings. I can live with those better than I can with this app as a part of my life.

Junk Software
The hardware this company makes is pretty nice. This app is garbage. Doesn’t look anything like a native app. Janky login behavior. Can’t figure out how to update firmware or change light settings, can’t even turn the lights off from the app. You would have to actively try to make software this bad.

Bad app, bad light
I bought the Magicshine headlight largely because of claims that I could adjust brightness settings. But the app is intrusive as it demands way more personal information than needed. It’s also buggy and unreliable in every way that I can think of.
You need a better app

Light great. App useless
Luckily you don’t need the app to use the light. Light has enough standard modes that I don’t need to add any more. This app could be a useful addition. Make the connection more robust please - it disconnects after 5 seconds
Never Worked
It’s hard to review an app that has never worked but I guess that’s the review. I got it to connect to my Radar taillight once… but was never able to make changes or update it. It just crashes whenever I try to connect. The light is nice. The app - who knows?

App crasht beim Login
Die App ist leider völlig unbrauchbar. Nach dem Start wird eine Login Maske gezeigt. Ich weiß nicht, warum ich mich einloggen muss um ein Licht einzustellen, aber man könnte auch auf Gäste Login klicken. Leider stürzt die App bei egal was man macht ab. Passt halt ins Bild: made in China.
App is unusable, crashes when setting up an account
Either the app is buggy or breaches apples privacy rules by harvesting restricted user data and Apple crashes the app. Either way, it’s unusable on iPhone 13 Pro Max and iOS 26.1 or 26.2
Nov 6th update crashes
The app now crashes after recent update. Please fix.
Won’t open
I was able to type my phone number after that the app closes. Can’t even review due to nonfunctional.
Broken code
Devices work fine without it but the app doesn’t work it crashes immediately after opening
