Bad app, bad light
I bought the Magicshine headlight largely because of claims that I could adjust brightness settings. But the app is intrusive as it demands way more personal information than needed. It’s also buggy and unreliable in every way that I can think of.
You need a better app

Light great. App useless
Luckily you don’t need the app to use the light. Light has enough standard modes that I don’t need to add any more. This app could be a useful addition. Make the connection more robust please - it disconnects after 5 seconds
Never Worked
It’s hard to review an app that has never worked but I guess that’s the review. I got it to connect to my Radar taillight once… but was never able to make changes or update it. It just crashes whenever I try to connect. The light is nice. The app - who knows?

New version of app removes features that were previously in the app.

App crasht beim Login
Die App ist leider völlig unbrauchbar. Nach dem Start wird eine Login Maske gezeigt. Ich weiß nicht, warum ich mich einloggen muss um ein Licht einzustellen, aber man könnte auch auf Gäste Login klicken. Leider stürzt die App bei egal was man macht ab. Passt halt ins Bild: made in China.
App is unusable, crashes when setting up an account
Either the app is buggy or breaches apples privacy rules by harvesting restricted user data and Apple crashes the app. Either way, it’s unusable on iPhone 13 Pro Max and iOS 26.1 or 26.2
Nov 6th update crashes
The app now crashes after recent update. Please fix.
Won’t open
I was able to type my phone number after that the app closes. Can’t even review due to nonfunctional.
Broken code
Devices work fine without it but the app doesn’t work it crashes immediately after opening

Ya va dos actualizaciones seguidas, y al abrir la app y querer hacer ajustes se cierra repentinamente.
Completely useless
Requires a complex login, refuses to accept phone number. Just forget it, and return the purchased item if you can.
Hori1300
New custom profile disable oryginals and reduce maximum brightness by half. I know it can be removed only with old version of app, with is not available. I can’t also make any profile with long light beam. Full brightness on long is to bright for road usage! GIVE ME BACK 900 lumens!
