Magnetometer・Magnetic Field visualizes the magnetic field your phone's sensor detects. It focuses on showing the deviation from a locally calibrated baseline, rather than an absolute field value, providing a more contextualized reading.
When a local magnetic peak is detected, the app provides a full-screen flash and haptic feedback. It also includes a beeping sound that increases in speed and volume as the signal strengthens, allowing for screen-free awareness.
Yes, Magnetometer・Magnetic Field offers four sensitivity levels to adjust how strongly the normalized signal is scaled. Additionally, a High Precision mode offers stricter noise filtering and peak thresholds for a cleaner reading.
When you stop a scan, the app saves a summary including the peak count, duration, mode, and calibration quality. Up to 100 such summaries can be stored on your device for later review.
Yes, Magnetometer・Magnetic Field contains advertisements. This is common for free applications that offer in-app purchases for additional features or content.
Magnetometer・Magnetic Field offers a Weekly subscription for $7.99/P7D with a 3-day free trial, and a Monthly subscription for $19.99/P1M, also with a 3-day free trial.
Yes, the app is useful for physics homework and classroom demonstrations that require live microtesla (µT) readings. It helps visualize how magnetic fields change in real-time.
The app reports what the sensor reads and cannot identify magnetic sources or objects. It is not a professional measuring instrument and readings should be treated as a relative guide, dependent on device capabilities and interference.
