Great Potential

The app is well designed and shows a lot of promise, but right now it feels like a bare-bones concept. It’s missing essential features such as sorting, tags, and dates, which makes it difficult to use for anything beyond basic archiving.
I’d love to support and follow the app’s development, but in its current state it’s unlikely to ever become truly useful.
At least drop the price to match the offering.

Want to love this app but where the heck is the developer?

I really want to use this app. BUT — while happy to still take our money, Emile, the developer has not updated this app in 4 (four) years, and has not responded to my inquiries about a glitch I’ve run into it during the two week trial right now. I see where somebody else was wishing he would update it — a year ago.

I don’t want to report Emile to Apple. I really want this app to be supported, and to be able to use it. I can tell it’s a fantastic app, and it’s exactly what I need. But it’s really worrisome when somebody seems to have just abandoned an app they created, you can’t get a response from them, and you don’t know if you’ll be able to get support if you really go for it with buying and using the app.

A great app that deserves more love

This is a great app for organizing your stuff, I just wish the developer would give it an update

Perfect thing to clean up my photo feed

Best app I’ve found to organize all the hundreds of screenshots I’ve taken so they don’t clutter up my photos feed!

Great app

I use this app as an alternative to Pinterest as it is more customisable, I got fed up with never being able to change the titles of things I saved on Pinterest - plus all the many ads they throw at you. I now have a beautifully organised and clear system for all the pictures I collect. 👍

Please add...

Hello can you add option to create folder within folder Whitton folder support thanks.

Fantastic App

Finally found an app that it so easy to use and I can now keep everything in one place in folders that you also get to name so everything is easily identifiable, never have to search again to see where on earth you see that item you loved so much

Magpie

Found the app fantastic, easy to use and great fun

Instant Visualization!

UPDATE: March 11, 2020
Dear One amazing Dev of this app,
Question - Feedback:

1) No way to setup folders in a text list view for iPad? (but does on iPhone) At the moment, I have to scroll down many folders to get the one I want to get to. I have lots of folders.

2) FEEDBACK: Recently viewed lists (make a top three recently viewed in ascending order) I go into several of lists.

3) FEEDBACK: Quickly rearrange/sort lists (ascend/descend) button.

4) MAYBE POSSIBLE: I Would PAY for this: Videos storage w/ simple annotation tools. Making these videos sort of like a database for quick, complex references we need.

**ORIGINAL POST**
Ability to store images and almost INSTANTLY type notes or ideas - is a no brainier.

Native photo iOS photo app makes you go through finger tapping Olympics just to set something like this up.

This is a fast, super convenient way to get to your into visualization.

I’m pretty sure in the future I’ll have suggestions for app improvements - but as it stands - this is perfect 👌

Fabulous!

Great app - A fabulous visual diary style scrapbook to help organise the creative mind - Thank you!

Why is location required?

I never got to try the free trial because it wouldn’t work without location turned on, which is no use as I am usually offline and don’t want my location data on even if I’m online.

Great app - heaps of uses

I am loving this app and when i contacted the developer they have heaps of cool stuff planned such as being able to list movies, books, Netflix etc. Is easy to to use and pretty!

Great app!

When I first looked at this I wondered what it could do that I couldn’t do in Photos itself. Having tried it and discovered its functionality with notes, titles, etc., the ability to batch import and other useful features I knew it was what I was really looking for. I use it to document historical items and places that I photograph while travelling and it works perfectly! I decided right away to buy a permanent license. Very good work indeed!

Concept Worthy

But needs a bit of work. It would be nice if a photo locations meta data could be optionally selected. I would like Google maps as an option. Titles to large (for my phone anyway). Maybe user should be able to create own fields (like a date field). Maybe some way to search for a list and sort lists.

Glitchy

Love love love the idea of this app. But it’s glitchy as. If you fix it so the buttons work when you press them (eg if “add item” worked after you selected 30 items from a year worth of camera roll) I will definitely use this app:)

The ultimate “At Last I Found It” App!

I desperately needed an app to help me bring an aesthetic order and logic to my many thousands of disordered photos and screenshots.

I really needed an option to add notes.

The app of my imaginings would look pretty and be fairly intuitive and be one that I would want to return to.

I also thought it would be great if I could share some of my app ... but not all of it.

“Magpie” seems to be ticking all those boxes!

Great app!

Love the app, really useful. I got the lifetime subs. Just wish I could add dates to some of my items!

Properly USEFUL!

I’ve never felt the need to write a review before but this app clearly deserves one. It isn’t just useful, or even a bit useful, it’s INCREDIBLY useful. I am a naturally disorganised person and I’m forever promising myself that I’ll “organise my phots” for example. Well it never happens does it! However, now I can do this as I go along, adding notes and bits of other really useful stuff as I go, nice and simple; and quick once you get the hang of it. Amongst “my lists” I have one for places that I’d like to visit some day, previously a bit of a problem because I never really knew where to store the information. Now of course I can simply take a picture, add the description, add a relevant URL and any other stuff I might need and there it is, stored in “places to visit”. I’ve found that it’s good to have the main picture showing the geographic location of the place (an arrow on a map of the UK for example) so that I can quickly scan to see if there’s anywhere in the area that I might find myself in. I have others for various projects that I’m involved in and it means I can keep a constantly (and easily) updated record/article to reference. I won’t bore you with any more of my lists but just to finish I can confirm that I purchased a lifetime subscription to the app around 10 minutes ago, excellent value in my opinion.

Very useful

Interesting and useful app. Best developer support I’ve ever received.

This is free on iPhones

It’s an interesting app, but I find it pointless as I have this free on my phone camera / photos. It’s called ALBUMS. Categories for anything you like. You can add reference notes too, just screen shot one from your Notes app and add to album! You’ll see it among photos easily.
