So fun to play and learn
It’s free! Only ads are after a game. You can leave and comeback. I learned Chinese and HKOS on the app and only had to search a few rules elsewhere! Love playing multiplayer in a private game w my hubs!

It’s fun that your able to play with friends online but the game constantly freezes or does not load at all for days
Glitchy
Game fails to load sometimes. Also, with American Mahjong, you should be able to pick up a tile and display, however it did not allow it- it acted as if it were the Chinese version and you can only steal if you have Mahjong.
Ads
Don’t use this app. The mahjong was fine but the ads couldn’t be closed down and then came the classic ‘your device has been hacked’ one. Also you can’t undo a move.

Great way to learn the card
I play in-person mahjong at least once a week and teach it, too. When I first started, this game was invaluable to help me learn and I recommend it to the people I currently teach. I still use it when the new cards come out each spring because it sees possible hands that I would otherwise miss. I think this app comes closest to playing actual mahjong.

Can't change settings
There is no place to extend the time between throws to longer than 15 seconds. One time an option came up but most of the time it's not on any screen. Also no place to change my name from just player #.
Wonderful
Absolutely the best Mahjong game for learning and practice. Very helpful with excellent Support responses. Sometimes the “X” doesn’t close the pop-up’s but clicking on the board itself is a simple workaround.

I love the game, when I play with multiplayer, when I don’t win it won’t let me stay in the room and play again, when I win it lets me stay in the room and automatically set up a new game. What’s up with that? When I lose I want to play again automatically. I don’t want to have to leave the room and wait to play with new players. I hope that makes sense.

Fun but……
Mahjong is a fun and addictive game, and this app captures the enjoyment of playing. I like that it’s free, which is definitely its biggest advantage.
That said, the app doesn’t seem to be designed with the player experience in mind. There are several areas that could be improved. Because players are anonymous, some people play extremely slowly, or the host may leave in the middle of a game without any consideration for the other players, which can end the game for everyone. There is also no option to call a hand dead, which can make games unnecessarily frustrating. Another area I would love to see improved is audio management. If you are the last one to join a game, you often don’t have time to decide whether all players have audio enabled. It would be much better to set this in the settings so the player’s preference applies to every game, instead of having to change it each time.
I would love to see the developers address these issues and add features that improve the overall playing experience. With a few thoughtful updates, this could easily become an outstanding app. Until then, it’s still worth trying because it’s free and the game itself is always enjoyable.
