What's New in MakeMyFlight App
1.0.2
October 6, 2026
New Features - "I'm at the airport" button. It appears after "I've left", with Undo. The timeline marks your arrival as done ("You're here"). If location access is already on, the app suggests "at the airport" or "on the way", and you confirm with the button. It never asks for permission on its own. - Live Activity. The lock-screen banners now show an airline code badge in brand colors for about 25 carriers. The leave time and status pills are color-coded. A small, faded app logo also appears on both banners. - Calendar scan route editing. You can fix the airports or search by route and pick a different flight. Airports you type by hand show as "Unconfirmed Route" until the server's re-check matches. - Live updates in the background. The app now gets a silent refresh when a delay, takeoff, landing, cancellation or gate change affects your trip. - Gates for more airports. Gate numbers now appear for flights up to 4 hours out at airports where we didn't have them before. Bug Fixes - Familiar time zone names. Times show EST, PST, BST, CET, JST and so on, instead of "GMT+1" or "GMT+9". - Departure times in flight search show the right zone instead of "UTC". - Landing times now hold at the actual touchdown time instead of drifting after you land. - Timeline. The drive step only appears if the trip has an After Landing destination. It reads "Drive home" for your Home address, otherwise "Drive to X". - Maps frame long routes the short way round the globe. ORD to HND used to center over Africa. - Codeshares in route search now appear once, under the operating carrier's flight number. - Alerts. - Alerts held back during quiet hours now arrive when quiet hours end, instead of being lost. - Long drives to the airport get their leave alert in time. - Every alert mode now gets a "time to leave" alert. - The heads-up lead time and on/off setting follow your profile. They were fixed at 15 minutes. - The local 12-hour alarm is gone. The server now sends that notice, and old scheduled alarms are cancelled. - In "both" mode, iOS rings one alarm per way.
