Taking too long

So I rlly like my happy marriage and assassin Cinderella, BUT they take too long to update

WHY I NEED COINS

I need coins about 40 just to read one manga now you better give them to me or I will write 1 star review pls🥺🙏

Great app! But could use some changes.

This is an awesome app! There is so many choices of manga books! And different categories you can pick from! But if I were to make a suggestion, it would be to give the points and coins a different use instead of limiting the amount of chapters you can read a day. Like maybe the coins and points could be used to like unlock premium manga books or something like that. But otherwise, it is a great manga app, I highly recommend it 👍

Review

From my experince in "Manga Up!" today, I can tell this is a great app. No this isn't some randomly generated AI or anything. Today, i read a few mangas, and I see no problems, and the month free subscription is something almost no manga websites do! I definitley reccomend this app to people who want to read manga. Give it a try!

It’s fine I guess

Why are the categories so random? Like put romance, or slice of life you don’t need media tie ins or game.

No saves????

I’ve been trying to read like three separate mangas on this app. It never saved my position even after I literally BOUGHT the chapters, now I have to buy them again? Why???? Does literally anyone else have to deal with this? I’m so tired of this

What is Even Going On?

Like the reader itself is…fine, I’ve definitely run into bugs where it throws me to the end of the next chapter, unresponsive page turns, etc. It is a baffling app that doesn’t explain anything. I’m trying a free trial for what seems to be the only subscription level but it still presents content like it might be gated. I have no idea what the XP, little c (I assume some sort of “coin”) or the “up” mean and nothing explains any of it, but it still asks you to spend money on the mysterious currency.

Trying to explore titles naturally in a genre is weird, like I assume organization is done by some invisible popularity instead of alphabetical by title or author. That hurts natural exploration. Though the lack of variety in genre and titles also hurts when it looks like 90% of the fantasy genre is just the same recycled isekai tropes with very few titles that feel worth it. I also don’t understand why it is online only reading when every other reader for decades has let users download in some capacity.

Just a frustrating experience and I just started. Makes me sad that some manga are trapped behind this app.

By far the worst mainstream manga app. This high rating is likely from bots and manipulation.

Now, I have all of the official manga apps and I’ve been using the SJ app since sometime in the early 2010’s. I’m not a covid poser fan acting like I have experiences to compare it to, I ACTUALLY do.

All of my other apps, you either subscribe, or you pay per chapter. This app wants you to do BOTH. A subscription gets you completed, backlogged series. If you want to read anything new, you have to make micro transactions to buy items to redeem for chapters. So the $5 or whatever that I spent to subscribe was pointless, I couldn’t read any of the series that I came to this app for. If you’re reading this and thinking I’m nitpicking, think about it this way; do you have to buy new releases from Netflix or Hulu if you have a subscription? Nope. And you can’t bring Amazon into this conversation, because they don’t charge you for the stuff they actually own if you have Prime, you pay for media from their partners who sell on Amazon. Heck, as much as I hate Crunchyroll for all of their buyouts and monopolizing the anime industry, just to close down every company they buy and make it impossible to buy certain merchandise from anyone but them, I can at least say that they gave us free manga with our subscriptions.
So yeah, this app is a straight ripoff. For the last 2 years, i wait a week or two to finally get enough items to read a free chapter. If it weren’t for that one slight benefit, I’d have deleted this trash. Don’t pay, just use it for free. Giving these conmen money only validates their scummy practices.

Glitchy

It keeps jumping back to the first chapter

Pay everything

Lots of titles but they want money right off the bat. If you are looking for a mostly free reader this isn’t it.

No reading lists!

How do you make a popular manga app and you don’t have some sort of favorites or reading list?!

Used to love it

I used to use this app every day for my manga, there was finally an app with manga that I could read all day everyday and it was free, bought a new phone , went to download it and it’s completely different, you have to pay now, missing half the manga it used to have as well, now I need to find another app. I miss the original

A good selection of manga

I like this app, but it does need the ability to sort your list. The ability to sort by last red, sort by newest, sort by genre. Otherwise, it’s very useful and I haven’t had any problems with it other than sorting.

Good title selection. App itself though…

Just on the titles alone I’m happy with it. I have a subscription right now and read it quite often

My only issues are on the technical side. The app is at times clunky. How quickly it times out on a load and you have to exit a title to get it to reload

If there’s one thing on the wishlist is a download to read offline function. I use the subway a lot and there are lots of stretches where there’s no cell service

Once again despite the tech gripes, I still like the service and would recommend it

XP problem

i’ve shared it like it said for xp but i haven’t gotten my xp but also theirs rarely ways to get xp this problem needs to be fixed plsss

Good content, horrible platform

MangaUp! Has a lot of good content, however their entire platform is a disaster, it’s buggy, massive login issues, SquareEnix has a terrible platform and no support and it’s easy to get locked out of your own account while still having a paid subscription. Update this platform cause it is almost easier to pirate manga.

Worst of the paid apps

I’m stuck in a sign in loop and it keeps kicking me out even though I paid for the subscription so I canceled it pathetic on their part truly is
K manga and viz do better

Glitchy

Trying to continue reading where you last left off automatically kicks you to the very first chapter of the manga and it takes so long for pages to load sometimes.

What is up with you app

What is up with you app. The load times are 10-15 seconds between pages. It is doing it in my phone and my iPad. No other comic app does this….. you need to fix it!
