Subscription Abuse
Hi Manta, so I have a problem with your system of service. I have the “standard membership” since I started reading from the app, but lately your system of gems and all have messed up the way I read. I thought by subscribing $4.99 a month would let me read all the comics I would like without having to pay for extra things. That’s what I loved about your app. And I was reading stories up until recently. Now I have to pay gems JUST to continue. This isn’t fair Manta. A lot of your subscribers DON’T HAVE the money because of inflation. You know this. It’s not fair that those of us WHO ALREADY had a membership have to be treated like we need to pay more for something that should be free for anyone regardless. I get that everything’s about money, but you’re gonna lose a lot of subscribers with that train of thought. Now when I like a story and the design and details, I only get a preview and I have to use gems to read the first chapter….that sucks man.

To be honest I love reading Manta so much before but I like the old version of menta & payment not this gem or whatsoever and don’t create another web to pay it’s so annoying . Thanks!

I love this app- great media but honestly I don’t want to see other people’s comments about the comics im reading- it’s taking away from my experience- can you update the interface to make it optional so I can hide them?

Manta needs to stop ignoring the people who support them, start implementing what their customers actually want, and help make the platform a comfortable place again. Forcing changes onto the screen completely destroys the quiet safe space we pay for. The company must listen to user feedback and add a simple toggle switch to turn off these new features immediately to help their user sets navigate the platform in peace.
