I love this app- great media but honestly I don’t want to see other people’s comments about the comics im reading- it’s taking away from my experience- can you update the interface to make it optional so I can hide them?

Manta needs to stop ignoring the people who support them, start implementing what their customers actually want, and help make the platform a comfortable place again. Forcing changes onto the screen completely destroys the quiet safe space we pay for. The company must listen to user feedback and add a simple toggle switch to turn off these new features immediately to help their user sets navigate the platform in peace.

Great but lacking ability to update bought series to full versions
I love the app and understand the need for gems to buy series.
For the most part I have no issues with this
However it has recently come to my attention that occasional a series gets releases just as is, and later down the line the full version is also released.
At the moment if you have already bought the normal in order to buy the full you have to pay the full gem price which is quite an amount. This really only applies to the ones that get the full version after the normal (E.g. lady and the beast is the most recent ones but it did happen with winter wolf prior)
While I understand all purchases are final I feel having an upgrade for a much smaller fee would make this more feasible and less of a drain when it does happen.

I loved the stories i read on manta, but I do wish sometimes they had a bigger member library to read from. It is quite an inconvenience to have the latest chapters of a story to be bought with gems, otherwise it is an enjoyable app.

I would like my preferences respected
I love the and its contents with exception of one thing. Ive enjoyed using the app for a number of years and my interests are absolutely clear. But every time I’ve opened this app for the past 6 or more months I see BL content. Whenever am asked by the app what my preferences are I’ve never chosen BL content but they seem rather keen and ensuring that’s what I see first thing on opening the app. Please stick to my preferences!

They try really hard to get us new comics and the price is reasonable for monthly subscription. Very consistent and great app. I appreciate all the communication the team gives up on things as well.

I’ve used a few apps for manhwa reading and this one is by far the best. Not only is there content for every kind of reader here but the sub tiers are built in the same likeness. In the years I’ve had this app, I’ve also seen the consistency this company has gathered feedback and responded to it. They’ll have my business for a long time!

My main source of manhwas
I love this app, and with the unlimited access is worth your while. It has a good amount of new and old series. And there I always a new read to discover. Very much recommend it.
The gem system
So I had this app for a few years or so. I took a break, because life. I come back and the gem system is so annoying. I picked back up a manhwa I started from 2022 ish and I was able to read it for free with the membership at that time (I was devoted to paying the monthly subscription) only to find out that I have to purchase gems. The manhwa is started took a few years to update anyways so I had to drop it and move on at that time. I come back and wanted to refresh my memory as that is now complete only to have to purchase the episodes I had already read! No thank you! I’m a binge reader! That is way too expensive and I just purchased the year membership! Please figure something else out for that stupid gem system. I’m not trying to pay $100 of dollars for gems to re read stories I had started previously. This app has changed so much…it’s sad to see it go this way. I can understand for people who don’t want to purchase subscriptions using the gems, but what about the yearly membership paying people? I know i saw a subscription for gems and stuff but I wanted the yearly subscription so that way I didn’t have to worry about another monthly subscription. I was only trying to treat myself.
