Good App for Manga, Manhwa, & Manhua, but unsafe recently.
This app allowed me to read & keep track of all the Manga, Manhwa, & Manhua I was interested in, but recently an app from a trusted company kept informing me that this app was unsafe when it was opened. I deleted it hoping that it would be fixed when redownloaded, but it still says it is unsafe. I checked the app multiple times on the same day & on different days, & it keeps informing me that it is unsafe. Now I have to use multiple apps & they do not even match the level of this app (such as the # of chapters for each one or they have chapters that I have already read for some & they have no new ones, or the # of chapters are random), & it is also costing me money now too, & from redownloading the app all the Manga, Manhwa, & Manhua that were being kept track of are lost & what chapters I was on was loss too. If this problem had never happened I would give this app at least 5 stars with no problems or complaints about anything.

Good app
The app is good only a few minor issues. When searching for a manga it doesn’t allow certain characters to register like (‘). Also I want to filter my search but you really can’t do the like I want isekai and mecha but I can only check one catagory. Also I want to filter out some category cause I don’t like certain categories but they’re all mixed. Also when reading a series it keeps my progress which is good but sometimes I want to reread the chapters from the beginning I have to manually go back to page 1.then there when I go to next chapter ya doesn’t change chapters till like a few minutes or I have to try again. Also with the current update it doesn’t load the app it’s just has the loading circle and just plain black screen.

Great app but has a problem
I love this love app ability to have TONS of manga and skippable adds. However it does have a pretty big problem that doesn’t allow me to give it 5 stars.
That problem is it not having a good (or even decent) search filter. You can only filter by 1 thing at a time. Like let’s say you want a fantasy and comedy manga. Well you would have to click on one of those two categories and click on each manga individually to see if it has the other category. That’s if it’s even a good one that you like to begin with. Thankfully you don’t get adds every time you click the screen and only get adds when you click an episode or else it will be a different story and I would just give 1 star and delete the app

App error
My app stopped working and the only way for me to be able to use it again was for me to delete it and redownload it. I lost all the manga I bookmarked and I can’t remember the names of them all. I enjoy this app and it’s the only one that allows me to read manga for free (with the exception of the no adds, which I bought and it is very useful). Is there anyway for me to get my bookmarked manga back. I never expected my app would crash like that for as long as it was crashing so I didn’t come up with a backup plan for it. Can one of the app creators please help me with this issue so I can continue reading my favorite mangas and webtoons.

We are very sorry about this problem. Currently, the MangaBAT app doesn't have a bookmarked backup feature. We will do research on it soon. thanks!
Issue with update
I don’t know how else to contact you since the support link is busted, but ever since the update, everything is going wrong. First, it crashed every time I opened he app. I tried everything I could until I eventually had to reinstall the app, which I might add, deleted everything I had saved because there is no option to create an account to save your library. Furthermore, I guess “removed copyright content” translates to “we have removed 70-90% of our content” because I cannot find the majority of the items I had saved to my library and the majority of the generic genre filter options have literally not items under them now.
I have literally been using this app for years now and never had issues, but whatever switches you flipped for the last update really screwed things up. Please fix this so we can continue using the app properly as well as your support link so that we actually contact you instead of having to use the review function on the App Store.
