I’ve fiddled with a handful of emulators on the Apple Store and ManicEmu seems to be the best one. It supports over a dozen more systems than Delta and a better interface than retroarch (imo of course) along with a slew of features like seamless AirPlay and Retro Achievements. Sega CD support is WEIRD tho. It utilizes 2 emulator cores you can swap between, ClownMDEmu which either locks up or crashes in my experience and jGenesis which works but it has issues: Retro Achievements doesn’t work and the AirPlay scaling options bug out; “Screen Scaling” is grayed out/unusable and most options under “AirPlay Scaling” stretch the picture VERY wide except for Square (1:1) which puts it into a tiny box. Messing around with swapping cores, strangely enough, seems to sometimes select a secret third core (normally “current” is displayed next to the used core, but not in this circumstance). This fixes the previous issues but then gives an initialization error screen in some games which is actually an easy fix: push a button while the Sega CD boot animation is playing (anything but Start), go to the option menu, then format the internal memory. Idk if it is accidentally hooking into the Genesis core or what but either make the 3rd core accessible without jumping thru hoops or just keep this bug as a secret feature because outside of the initialization thing I prefer it.
I also can’t play DSi. I have all the firmware files, I switch to DSi System Type for MelonDS, change core to desmume, I can’t play Cave Story or Four Swords anniversary, desmume gives me a blank white and melonds tells me firmware.bin can’t be used WHICH IS WHY I GOT THE DSI FILED WTH???
