Sync between devices?
Enjoyed the app for a couple years. Anyway to sync between phone and iPad?
Love the app but having use issues
Maybe it is me? Or my phone? Have used the app off and in for a couple of years. I recently upgraded to a 14Pro. Running on iOS 16.4.1. I seem to now have issues with using the app outside. I don’t think it’s temp related but maybe? Finger pressure not working to create the various drill markings. And once created can’t seem to move them. I do have screen protector on but I always do and worked fine
On my 12 pro.
Seems to work better inside.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Great app
Love the app and the distance marking. Would love to see an update for more options to label locations in the field. Everything might not be a blind or a true mark. One might set out visible bumpers solo training

By far the best map system out there. Would like to see some more options like diversion bird/shot, retired gunner etc.

Update maybe?
I would like the ability to add decoys (maybe round bales, etc) to my set up. As a judge it is nice to set decoys (or other factors) in your set ups. You can design a set up beforehand and then ‘tweak it’ after you get there and make necessary changes for actual wind, terrain, and other established factors, then save set up for a record to look back are later. Another useful update would be where you could not only ‘mark’ where the fall landed, but stretch the ‘arc’ to show where the ‘mark’ originated from. It already indicates the angle of the throw of course. Very useful app however for recording training set ups, etc.

Map Marks for all my training set up logs
I have been using this app for over a year now. It is so easy to use and I can log my training set up and notes from the day. A must have for the retriever trainer!
Invaluable reference
I couldn't train without it! Just running one dog, i rapid fire through my setups due to limited time. I can enter a setup with three marks and multiple blinds in a couple minutes without going to my truck. No worries about reading sloppy drawings and notes.
Could be so much more
Extremely basic app that could be brilliant with more effort from the developer. You should be able create dog profiles and save retrieves against each dog. It’s also annoying that you can’t use the same point from which to run multiple retrieves without creating a whole new retrieve from scratch. Works ok for what’s included but certainly not rocket science and not worth paying for.

I see that you have e an updated version, so why didn’t the app on my phone update?

Great tool
The app is great! Use it almost everyday. Being able to place things like obstacles and holding blinds or hay bales would make it awesome.

Great way to map out the days training. I keep a daily journal for each of my dogs, I’m not an artist so now I just have to draw the lines in my book. Thanks!
Great app
I really like the app, one feature I’d poke to see is the ability to search for locations like you can in Apple Maps or google maps. A lot of the time I don’t make the setup right away and want to do it after the fact. It’s cumbersome to follow roads and landmarks to find the locations. I also would like to go back and edit descriptions after I’ve saved please

Awesome App
Please consider adding more detail on marks. For example, create a fall area (FA) and throw area (TA). The current set up is awesome, but more detail important where the mark was thrown from and where up it landed would be fantastic.

Hi. Thanks for the review. The latest release allows you to display the arc of the throw, so u can see where the mark was thrown from.
Quickly Record Tests
2.0 Bill - pleases you are adding wind direction. Consider a way to scale the mark location to allow for smaller icon. As it is the icon covers the entire fall area. Perhaps the bubble around the angle of throw arrow can be fine line outline only and not opaque so it reveals and doesn’t hide the area of fall.
2.0a I find taking a screen shot allows me to draw dogs track to mark and store it. If the app allowed same it would be all inclusive in your app.
