What's New in MapMarkup

2.3

May 24, 2022

This update includes an easier way to manage sharing multiple maps.

User reviews

Clunky. Not user friendly.

An awkward and often frustrating UI. Not how an app should work. Apps are meant to make like easier ….not more frustrating. Don’t waste your time trying to use this. It’s more hassle than it’s worth.

Great for Cemeteries and Obscure Areas

Map works great for cemeteries and other areas not clearly marked on most conventional maps. Allows you to see where you are in real time in relation to your destination and you can actually set your destination as a grave in a cemetery.

Would be nice if you could curve and rotate your custom labels to match the slopes and directions of the roads. Would be great if you could search for your labels in the search bar or save locations to choose from in a drop down menu. Was hoping to be able to make map print outs with this but I think it will work as a great navigator on phone.

I will likely use this app for years to come.

Title says all

Fantastic premise - just keeps crashing when annotating

I was so excited when I saw this as I felt it would be a great tool for annotating junctions and other road areas for my customers of my driving school. However, when ever I use the pencil mark up, it crashes on my iPad Pro within a few seconds. I means I have to revert to screenshots of Google Earth which I can annotate no problem. I would very much love to use this as getting to an area, marking up and then zooming in and out at will, is WAY more preferable than messing about with a screen shot and a lot quicker too. Hoping an update will fix this problem and will up date my review and score, accordingly. I scored three as it is a brilliant idea.
