Stay away from this brand. I prefer analog, but went this brand. It is terrible. This app rarely works.

My AV30 is connected to via Ethernet to my home network. Connections are 100%, no issues.
This app really needs a dark mode for dark room watching. The web interface can be dark but the controls are sluggish compared to this app.
The Blu-Ray input changes the user interface to a bunch of disc controls but they only work with compatible players. I would rather have it look like all of the other inputs/controls.

Crashing
I try to connect and the app just crashes
アプリをけして、アンプを初期化でストレスからの解放。
レコードを聞こうとphonoに合わせても、勝手にHEOSに変更される。レコードを再生してphonoに戻すと一瞬だけレコードが鳴りHEOSになる。
（何が書いてあるか分からないかもしれないが、悪戯されてる様な状況）
ネットで調べたら、このアプリをアンインストールするか、アンプを初期化するかの2択。（厳密には、スマホとアンプの接続を常に切っておく、という手段もあるが、このアプリを入れる意味が無い）
アンインストールしてストレスから解放されました。
と、思ったら、またHEOSに邪魔されたので、アンプを初期化しました。
マランツは不誠実な会社ですね。

Rather good
Most of the reviews here seem to be negative. You’ll notice that they’re also old. I’ve just downloaded it for my Cinema 70 and it seems to work fine.
It has a nice, clean interface, it’s easy to navigate and it’s pleasant not to have turn on the tv to access the AVR’s settings.
I like it, so there.
(The HEOS app, however, is pants.)

This app takes a long time to find the AVR on the network, if it ever does. I just log in via IP address to do what I want. Major fail for this app. It kind of sucks!
Panasonic DIGAとHDMI接続
マランツのcinema 30を使っています。ブルーレイのディーガとHDMI接続をしていると、時々途切れてすぐ復活します。
設定をいろいろ変えているのですが、この現象がなおりません。
HDMI接続した他の機器でも頻度は少ないですが、同じことが起きます。
ソフトウェアのアップデートを望みます。

COMPLETE FAILURE
Connecting wireless headphones is a nightmare. Bluetooth transmitter is an epic failure. I’m very sorry I bought my Marantz Cinema 70s receiver.
What happened?
Used to be great! Functional, quick, thorough….now it can’t find my receiver and I have to through a series of reboots or re downloads….pleeeaaaaaase fix it!
Seems to lack access to Dirac filter selection in Audio Setup menu.

It works great or it doesn’t
This app often connects to the last receiver it was used with automatically, I’m fortunate to have two that are a few years old, and the AVR settings are well laid out on one screen. Other times the app just won’t connect to show one or both AVRs no matter how many times I open and close it. You’d think Marantz would fix this after several years. Could be a lot better.

Missing feature in the latest update
Please fix the latest Marantz AVR remote app for iOS. In the latest release the Dirac Live switch options is missing from the menu. Now I can switch the 3 setups only from the Marantz remote. Do you test the app before to release it ?

Tried multiple times to connect my AVR 50 to this AVR remote app.
It’ won’t let me choice my AVR 50 model. The choice of my amp isn’t available!
Called customer service and their no support for my problem.
Plus the customer service person keep troubleshooting the wrong issue of WiFi connectivity. When the issue is the design of the app software not giving me a choice of my AVR model!

I spent $2500 on this POS. This app sucks. Get something else. You’re spending over $1000 for Dirac capability and we don’t even get it for the factory. I’m selling my Cinema 50 and not even considering the option of looking back. I only hope you can read this too and know that I will never give this Private Equity funded company another dime. May Marantz’s demise be long and painful.
