While some content is periodically shared in the app, we understand this may not align with everyone's preferences. We’d like to clarify that any pop-up you see when the app is opened or brought to the foreground is actually set by the user under the Settings page, specifically in the Default Landing Page section. We apologize for any confusion caused, and we’re working to improve the overall experience. As always, you can add your own bookmarks, share them, and even customize the app to suit your needs. Thank you for reaching out. It seems that some of the features of the app may not have been clear. Marker is designed to be a streamlined bookmarking app, allowing for the quick and easy saving, organization and retrieval of URLs. There is a small button on the top left of the screen for viewing and adding these bookmarks. The bookmarks that come pre-populated in the app are meant to showcase the app’s functionality (Periodically share bookmarks on different topics to users). You may wish to check out 1Extn and/or ‘Aiden - Your AI Assistant’ which are part of a trilogy I created to see if they better suit any of your needs.
