Garbage app
Followed the directions no fewer than 10 times on two separate devices to set the tub up on the wifi network. It does not work. We had it working a few years back before the recent “app update” which broke everything, and no longer works.

Absolute garbage app for Marquis spas.
This app is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. I have had to manually reconnect it no less than 10 times in two years by taking off the panel of our swim spa and completely resetting everything. Sometimes it works OK, but mostly not which is the worst part. They’ve updated it approximately two times in three years and everything is broken. Everything! Nothing is labeled, the instructions are terrible and there is absolutely no support. Don’t waste your money on adding a Wi-Fi controller to your spa or swim spa. It’s absolutely not worth it for this hot garbage. Marquis should be embarrassed.

Great app but needs set up instructions
This took a while to get the app working. Something I discovred is you have to have your router/modem available to accept wireless g/b not just wireless N or AC. When I disabled this feature it would not work, until I enabled it again. I feel the instructions should be a part of this app instead of having to search on the internet and balboa’s instructional guide to figure it out. Aside from that I love that I can adjust the temp, set up filter cycles, set the time and turn on/off and adjust and change the color of the lights. I wish I could choose the color rather than having to cycle through each one. I have not had any connection issues with range. Works same as any wifi device I have and about the same range. I think people aren’t realizing this is using your wifi range not the hot tub.

Nice App
Great app for information on the SPA! The only reason I gave it a four star is the information on how to set up should have been included in the Spa packet! I had to work to get the info to set it up!
The app is quick when my phone is on the local network, but slow when I am away and the the cell network. They should contact Chamberlain garage doors as they’re remote control is much fast for me on the cell phone network even when I am across the county!
Just to recap the app is worth the effort, and I hope they work to improve it! One thing like my garage door app is a notification when things are outside certain limits!

Doesn’t work
We have had our tub for 3 years now and keep hoping this app will work. Router must be next to a tub that’s outside! Plus even if router is there, you have to keep entering settings every time you use it.
