About

Marrow reads your morning vitals and tells you exactly where your metabolism stands — what yesterday's eating, sleep, and protocol likely caused it, and what to do today. Animal-first nutrition with peptide and cycle awareness, all on-device. YOUR WAKING TEMPERATURE IS A METABOLIC REPORT CARD The temperature you take before getting out of bed reflects what your body burned overnight. 97.2–97.8°F means fat-burning. Below that: under-fueled or thyroid suppressed. Above 98.6°F: inflammation, glycogen load, or glucose mode. Marrow classifies every reading into one of six metabolic zones and plots a 14-day trend so you can see exactly where your metabolism is heading. DIET CORRELATION — WHAT CAUSED TODAY'S READING The app reads yesterday's meal log and surfaces the most likely driver of today's temperature. Late dinner with starchy food? Expect +0.3–0.5°F. Organ meats and salt water? Expect stable or lower. OMAD? The fast window shows in the morning signal. This is the retrospective feedback loop that animal-first and ketogenic dieters have never had before. ANCESTRAL PROTOCOL, MEASURED Animal foods remain the base — meat, organs, eggs, fatty fish — but Marrow now includes the selective additions that survived honest evidence review: berries, citrus, walnuts, pecans, macadamia, Brazil nuts, sulforaphane, bovine colostrum, raw aged cheese. Honey, grains, legumes, and pasteurized dairy stay excluded. PEPTIDE AWARENESS For users running growth-axis peptides (Tesamorelin, Ipamorelin/CJC, BPC-157, Thymosin Alpha-1, Cerebrolysin), Marrow tracks the biomarkers that matter — IGF-1 with cancer-relevant thresholds, HbA1c, ApoB, hs-CRP, homocysteine. The Fix library knows that high protein plus growth peptides stack IGF-1 elevation, and what to do about it. PERIODIC FASTING PROTOCOLS Five-day water, bone broth, and fat fast cadences with day-by-day expectations. Drops IGF-1 30–50%, triggers autophagy, mandatory off-cycle countermeasure for anyone using growth peptides. 15 BIOMETRIC SIGNAL MOMENTS The app watches your data continuously and surfaces a full-screen signal the moment something meaningful happens — new weight low, fat-adapted state confirmed, waist milestone, silent recomposition, temperature reversal, logging streak. Warning signals too: rapid weight gain, waist creep, temp suppression, energy slump. PROTEIN-FIRST TRACKING Your protein target is calculated from lean body mass using the US Navy body composition method. The protein ring is your primary metric — not calories — because on animal-first eating, protein adequacy drives everything. LONGEVITY SIGNALS - Zone 2 cardio minutes with weekly ring and heart rate targets - Grip strength against Lancet PURE study norms (139,000 subjects, age and sex matched) NUTRIENT DENSITY 26 micronutrients tracked across organ meats, seafood, ruminant cuts, fruit, and nuts. Polyphenols (mg, Phenol-Explorer), histamine load, and macros all included. CYCLE INTEGRATION Morning weight, waist, and basal body temperature flow to Apple Health automatically — Apple Watch, scales, and cycle apps like Forecast read the same numbers. Cycle phase context surfaces in the morning log when paired with a cycle tracker. CRAVING INTERRUPTION + PROTOCOL FIXES Evidence-based swap suggestions for the hard adaptation weeks, plus deeper fixes: IGF-1 elevated, carb reintroduction, heat damage from high-temp cooking, peptide cycling. All data stays on your device. No accounts. No subscriptions. No cloud.

What's New in Marrow

1.2

May 8, 2026

v1.2 — Carb cycling and a knowledge audit. Carb cycling is now first-class. Match training to high days, recovery to low days, planned overfeeds to refeed days. Sodium target adjusts inversely with carbs because insulin retains sodium via ENaC channels — only when glucose is present. Low days waste sodium; high days retain it. The app reads today's day type and shifts your electrolyte target with it. • New carb cycle settings (Journey tab → today's day-type pill, top right): Off, Classic 5/2, Alternating 4/3, Targeted, Custom. • Weekly pattern editor — drop any weekday on Low / Moderate / High / Refeed. • Dynamic sodium target: low day 5,500 mg → moderate 4,000 → high 3,000 → refeed 2,500. • Three new Fix protocols: Low Day Drag (sodium, not glycogen), Refeed Crash (insulin rebound + ENaC retention), Glycogen Stalled (cycle drift). Knowledge audit. Every claim in the protocol layer was checked against current peer-reviewed literature. Material corrections shipped: • Vitamin A and D upper limits realigned to NIH ODS values (was overstated). • Brazil-nut selenium revised to a conservative median — content varies 30× by soil region. • "Oxalate dumping" and "Mast Cell Reset" relabeled as anecdotal — not established physiology. • Adaptation phase titles renamed to mechanism-accurate language ("Sodium Cliff", "Fuel Switch"). • Tesamorelin, BPC-157, NMN, boron, pomegranate, sulforaphane, time-restricted eating, 5-day FMD: all tightened to match current evidence.
